A home away from home for your furry pals! 🐶🐈
Having always loved dogs, people have trusted me for as long as I remember to look after their pups. From elderly toothless Pomeranians to boisterous Aussie Sheppard pups I've always taken great pride in creating the nicest possible home away from home for our four legged guests. I'm also very active so alongside the five star treatment your dogs can also expect lots of walking and play time around the many local dog parks. I'm also very aware that staying somewhere new can unsettling for some and so myself and my partner (I'll tell you all about him in a moment) do everything we can to create as much of a sense of calming normality. This means keeping their routine exactly as it is at home, using any commands etc that you might use and generally going out of our way to create a sense of 'normal'. We're super flexible so, if you have any ideas about how we can make your dogs stay the best it possibly can be, please don't hesitate to let us know! My partner: I live with my partner Jacob who helps out and might actually be even more experienced in looking after pets than me. He grew up in a house full of animals with two dogs, two rescue cats and some fish, and then spent his teenage years working on a farm. Unfortunately, a couple of years ago, one of Jacobs childhood dogs Lucy was diagnosed with deafness due to old age. However what this does mean is that we're experienced with looking after dogs with additional needs and are incredibly passionate about making sure they get the TLC that they deserve. Evie always has the best time with Jess. She took such great care of her while I was out of the country, and kept me updated regularly so I never had to worry.
Jess and Jacob took wonderful care of Bettie whilst I was traveling for work. She can get anxious in new environments but they were extremely patient and understanding of her behaviorisms, sent regular updates during her stay and reached out whenever they wanted to cross check something. This really put my mind at ease and Bettie clearly had the time of her life, as she kept pulling to go back all the way home 🤣 Highly recommend Jess and Jacob and a big thank you from me and Bettie!
Cappie had another great stay with Jess and Jacob! He knows where they live and goes right to their door - he’s always excited to see them! He was smiling when I dropped him off! Jess sent me cute photos of Cappie’s love for the autumn crunchy leaves on the street and playing in the park! They always take care of Cappie like he’s a part of their family and that makes my heart so warm with happiness.
We can genuinely see that our dog Jack had a good time with Jess & Jacob. They are clearly real dog lovers. They took great care of Jack with great skill and know what they’re doing. We are lucky to have found them and would definitely recommend them. Thank you, Jess & Jacob!

I have a hybrid job with a pretty flexible work from home schedule so am able to fit in around you and your dogs needs!

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a spacious, secure, basement flat with lots of cosy space for your dog to snuggle up in as well as a large, fenced off garden. We take the safety of any dogs in our care incredibly seriously and will always check in with you to see if there are any extra measures that need to be taken for your pup specifically!

We have lots of experience with different types of dogs, we are very active so your dog will get lots of long walks and play time!
