I have taken care of and owned dogs and cats since I was very young. I have worked with dogs professionally (SF Puppy Prep in San Francisco where I was a dog trainer) as an adult. Currently I work with dogs and cats both on behavioral issues if needed as well as comfort and companionship when their owners are away. I believe that animals are sacred family members and I look forward to spending time with, and getting to know your furry family! In my spare time I love volunteering at the SPCA, reading, printmaking and going for long hikes around the Bay Area. I am also open to helping you with mail retrieval, car moving for street cleaning, and plant care etc. while you are out of town!

Jess was absolutely amazing and possibly the best sitter we’ve had so far (i don’t know how that’s possible as everyone is so great here on Rover!) - so that’s a huge compliment! She was super accommodating wrt pick up and drop off times, gave us plenty of pictures and updates and even took our dog out for 2 walks - one to lake Merritt! Like wow!!! Her child was an absolute cherry on the cake as my dog got to interact with a toddler for the first time so it was a great learning experience for him too and i loved how open she was with exposing him to our dog! Absolutely recommend her and we know we’ll be coming back to her again :D

Schedule
I am currently working part-time from my home and going for my second Master’s degree so I have lots of down time during the day to schedule walks or drop-in visits as well as boarding and taking care of your home.

I have a fenced in yard at my home and live near two parks for walks. At your home I will follow all safety and care instructions carefully and am happy to provide training tips if desired!

A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks, hikes, and engaging with them through play. Kitties are also a huge love of mine, I love to bring them joy with new games, grooming and cuddles - I am especially good with shy pets! I believe that animals are sacred family members and I look forward to spending time with, and getting to know your furry family!
