I’ve been pet sitting since I was 12 years old and have always had pets in my life. I was raised caring for many dogs and cats at a time, all with such distinct personalities and differing needs. When pet sitting for friends, relatives, and neighbors, I adjust to their pets behavior and understand what they need quickly. I’m able to understand and listen to an animals needs, while respecting their boundaries and making them feel comfortable. Safety, trust & environment
When pet sitting in my clients home, I make sure to slowly introduce myself depending on your animals comfort level. If your dog or cat is skittish, I make sure to keep my distance at first, move to their level, and make it known that I am safe person by giving them treats or toys. Their boundaries set by their body language is what I follow in order to decide the best way to approach your dog or cat, making sure they can feel comfortable and safe.

Jersey came a few times before a four day stay at our home to take care of our two year old Border Collie, Dolly. Dolly is very shy and Jersey demonstrated great patience and gentleness, winning Dolly’s trust. Jersey has shown that she is very responsible. She has come each occasion as promised and right on time. Dolly shows that she really likes Jersey and trusts her. We strongly recommend her.
Jersey did an amazing job staying with our Sheepadoodles. I would highly recommend Jersey for pet sitting!

Jersey seems to genuinely love our dogs and takes great care of them. I don’t worry about them when she is at our house.
Jersey was absolutely fantastic. She was easy to work with. She communicated well while setting everything up and the whole time we were gone. Based on the pictures of my dog cuddling with her and sitting on her lap, I would say they loved her. She also went above and beyond and stripped the bed to make it easy for me to wash the sheets. That was a very nice surprise.

Schedule
I’m currently a full time student with my classes being fully online so I’m able to pet sit everyday! This can vary depending on the week but, consistently my schedule is pretty flexible.
