Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a secure, loving environment in a safe home with a fully fenced yard, Your dog would be hanging out with me and Chewy in a large finished basement, he is free to explore and do anything he wants in the room and chose any place to sleep, I have a huge couch that Chewy sleeps on or he will have a dog bed with covers, his choice! Fenced yard and supervised outdoor play and exercise. I let the dogs use the bathroom in the backyard. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to create a calm, pet-friendly space where dogs feel comfortable and protected. My small dog is friendly and helps create a welcoming atmosphere, while I always prioritize careful introductions and close supervision to ensure every pet feels safe. I’m committed to maintaining a clean, secure environment where pet parents can feel confident their dog is being cared for like family!

Information Jerry G. would like to know about your pet
Your dogs must be clean, spayed or neutered, house trained, no obsessive chewers. They should be on some sort of flea and tick preventative. Will need to be friendly to dogs. No breed preference. Of course, they must be fully vaccinated. Crate trained is preferred but not a must. - Let me know of any allergies, please! - Copy of shot records w/Bordetella - Daily routine including eating schedule - Dog's likes and dislikes - Do you crate them when you're not home? - What commands do they know? - What habits does your dog have (IE: chewing, anxiety, chase cats)?
A typical day
I live in a nice older neighborhood where I can walk them daily, and I am also close to Hines Park. We will have playtime as much as possible. You can bring the dogs bedding if you like, (If they normally sleep on their own bed.) Otherwise they can sleep anywhere in my room, the couch, the floor with some blankets, wherever is comfortable for him/her. Crate training is preferred but only used when I leave the house. (Isn't a must because I can also keep them in my room until I get back.) I prefer it for safety reasons if I'm gone. They will sleep with me and my dog Chewy, in my room. I am home most of the day and in the evening. Some days I have to run errands but I’m never gone for more than 3 hours. They will get all the exercise, love, and affection they need. We'll have lots of play time and fun in our backyard!

Pet care experience
I’m a dedicated and attentive dog owner with hands-on experience caring for my own dog every day, including feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, and maintaining a consistent routine. Through this experience, I’ve learned how important patience, reliability, and understanding each dog’s unique personality are for providing great care. I’m comfortable with exercise needs, administering basic care, reinforcing positive behavior, and making sure dogs feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Caring for my dog has given me practical experience and a genuine passion for working with dogs of different temperaments and energy levels.
Reviews
How to start this out, my son Jerry has been a dog lover, and an animal lover all his life, especially dogs. That’s his weakness. He cares for them, gives them all the attention. He treats them. As if they are his own children, he has watched the neighbors dogs when they see him. I don’t know why they always get excited he’s always given them attention feeding them playing with them and takes good care very kind and would highly recommend🥰👍
My son Jerry took excellent care for his dog Chewy for 13 years. Whenever Chewy needed medical attention, Jerry was always there for him. He takes Chewy every day for a car ride and spends most of his time with him. Jerry is incredibly responsible, reliable, and loves animals. I would definitely recommend Jerry for taking care of any kind of dog.
Jerry loves and cares so much about pets, especially the way someone handles pets is very important to him He will make sure to pay extra attention so pets are safe, happy, healthy, and fed with the right food Jerry has a dog of his own, he purchase the top of the line food and vitamins and won't allow any one to feed his dog food that will hurt his precious dog, even if his dog begs for it, Jerry would say No, the dog does not know what is good or bad for him Any pet that Jerry look after, is a very locky pet ❤️
