Safety, trust & environment
Having rescues has made me incredibly patient and ultimately a better person. I feel like I have an ability to read animal body language well and I am educated on signs of discomfort having a reactive dog. I have been told I have a calm disposition. Walking in the city can be unpredictable as well and I always carry a can of dog repellent in case of negative encounters with other animals during walks. Experienced with breaking up dog fights as well. Your pup is safe with me!
Information Jerra W. would like to know about your pet
Any behavioral issues! I am more than comfortable with reactive dogs, whether that be fearful or dog aggressive, I would love to show up as prepared as possible.
A typical day
I am very outdoorsy and I love hiking and walking with dogs. Always let them stop to sniff all the smells! Puzzles and enrichment toys, when available, are great ways to cure boredom. If a backyard is available, fetch is always a good time!

Pet care experience
Lifelong animal lover, critter collector, and guardian to 5 rescues. Animal care is my biggest passion! I grew up with pets in the house and helped out on my dads farm for years. I have cared for every walk of life. Cats, dogs, pigs, chickens, reptiles, rodents, amphibians, insects, and aquatic species! Experience with special needs/high needs animals, medication administration, mobility support, cat/dog CPR, and surgery recovery. Very experienced with reactive dogs whether that be fearful reactive, dog aggressive, or easily distracted. Encouraging confidence is my expertise. My dog, Birdie, is a very anxious rescue who is 3 years old and her confidence growth is one of my proudest achievements, she is my best friend. We love traveling and hiking together. I am very quick to bond with animals and love getting to know all their unique personalities!

Reviews
Great first experience with Jerra!

Jerra was great with our pups and gave us great communication!

Jerra was AMAZING! She took care of my guy for the first time while I was away on a trip. She went out of her way to make him comfortable and take care of him when he wasn’t feeling great. Very appreciative of her and will book again!
Accepted our requests last minute and was very accommodating! Sent pictures and updates. Very easy work with and communicative. My dog was in perfectly good hands!
