Hi! I’m Jericho — an experienced pet sitter and former dog groomer. I’ve cared for animals my whole life and have years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, plus many other different kinds of animals. I’m comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, and handling any special-needs. Safety, consistency, and communication are my top priorities, and I always treat every pet like family. I have a flexible schedule, which makes customized care easy. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise, a calm companion, medication, or extra patience, I adapt to their unique needs. I also have extensive experience with rescue animals and understand that every pet has their own story, personality, and comfort level. Jericho was awesome! She was always on time and sent lots of pictures. I could tell our pets were doing well. She also stayed in touch and asked questions, so I know she was caring for them and concerned about them. Would definitely book again!

Jericho was available to house sit my two dogs and my cat last minute for an overnight for 24 hours which I very much appreciated. I would recommend that if you hire Jericho to set very clear expectations and to make sure she fully understands the difference between house sitting and drop in visits, especially as it pertains to the feeding and potty schedule. Jericho asked me during the meet and greet if I needed her to spend the night since she lived so close. I let her know that the expectation was that she would be at my house since I was hiring a house sitter. Even more so because I have a 3 month old puppy that needs to be let out at minimum every 90 minutes. During the stay, I noticed on my security system that Jericho spent the majority of the time not at my home, and was basically doing drop ins of 10-20 minutes every 3.5 hours. She did however actually spend the night. I've had pets for over 10 years and it never dawned on me that I needed to set an expectation for how much time to be at my house during the day since it was a house sitter. I also noticed that some of the times she was gone was during the dogs' scheduled feeding times. I had a friend go to my house to get the dogs once I realized what was happening. Jericho had "fed" the dogs by shoving their food bowls on top of their beds in their crates and left. This was my first bad experience with Rover and I've used it for over five years, and I will make sure to not hire someone in the future with so few reviews.

I have an extremely flexible schedule and will do my best to work with yours! I am a singer songwriter which allows me to spend lots of extra time caring for your pet/s!
