I work full time at an engineering firm (8-5), but I have an hour lunch break to be able to go check on any animals at that time! Other than my regular job, I am available usually whenever!

I prioritize animal care over anything. If there are certain medications that need to be given, that will be top priority for any animal. If the animal has any kind of anxiety, I do my best to earn their trust so they feel comfortable around me when their owners aren’t around. I always wants animals to feel safe and comfortable with me so we can both have a great experience! I have two cats myself and I make sure to play with them every day, they have an automatic feeder so they have the same portioned food at the same time every day.

If there are any medications that need go be given to any animal, I will be on top of it. I will make sure they are given the right amount and at the right times.
A typical day
I love to play catch with dogs and go on walks with them! For kitties I love to play with the string toys and have them chase it to make it feel like they’re hunting.

For as long as I remember, I have loved animals more than anything. They bring me so much joy and happiness and seeing their beautiful personalities makes me love them even more when I get to know them. I have watched dogs for many years, some for family, some for friends, and I love it more and more each time! I have watched from one to three dogs at once and stayed at the person’s home to ensure quality care. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and then getting back and just relaxing with them after a long day of play.

Jerica was so great! Our dog is a rescue and can be sensitive to new people coming into his space. Jerica came over twice before housesitting, 1x a few months ahead to make sure it was a good fit and then the week before to give our guy a refresher. He LOVED her and loved her energy. She is so good with animals and sent us updates each day.
