Right now my schedule is flexible, which makes fitting in pet care easy. On a typical weekday, I walk your dog after dropping off my two young kids in the morning, again in the afternoon before pickup, and then once more in the evening. Either my wife or I will do that last walk while the other parent hangs out with the kids, so your dog gets both exercise and company throughout the day.

Your dog will stay in a kid-friendly, dog-loving home where safety and routine matter. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, and any training or medication, and I’m experienced with everything from energetic labs and pugs to strong, powerful breeds like pitbulls. For breeds and personalities that do well with it, we sometimes take the dog and kids to a nearby park and play together, with off-leash time only where it’s allowed and appropriate for that individual dog. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your companion is doing

Please note that we have two young kids (ages 4 and 6) who are gentle and respectful with animals, so your dog should be comfortable around children and normal family activity. We’d also like to know your dog’s energy level, any reactivity or quirks, and their usual routines so we can keep them comfortable and consistent.
A typical day
A typical weekday starts with getting the kids ready and walking or biking them to school with your dog, often stopping at Baldwin Park or the dog park for some playtime. During the day, your dog relaxes with us at home with a midday walk or quick outing if we run errands. In the afternoon, we have some dedicated playtime with your dog before heading out to school pickup, often bringing them along for another walk and fresh air, then spending the evening with family time, dinner, and cuddles. Depending on your preferences and your dog’s personality, they can sleep with the kids, curl up on the couch, or stay in our room so they feel comfortable and at home.

Love of animals has been a constant in my life. I’ve lived with both cats and dogs and have been the trusted pet watcher for family and friends since I was a young child. Over the last 10 years, my wife and I have made ourselves available to watch the pets and companions of friends, many of them expats who take long trips, caring for their loved animals for days or weeks at a time. This has been a huge benefit to our family and, more recently, to our children, who now have a whole pack of “dog-cousins” they adore spending time with. Over the years I’ve cared for pitbulls, black labs, pugs, rescues, and lots of mixed-breed companions, so I’m comfortable with many different sizes, energies, and personalities.

Jeremy was wonderful! He really genuinely loved our dog and asked lots of questions to make sure his care was tailored to Zuko's needs. He sent regular pictures and updates and I would absolutely book with him again.
Jeremy has provided great care for my dog Lola in the past. Jeremy is responsible and attentive to details - he follows all of the care instructions perfectly and has kept me updated throughout Lola's stay. He likes bonding with Lola and made sure she got plenty of affection, took her on regular walks, and kept her well-fed and happy. He genuinely cares about the dogs he watches, and Lola has been comfortable and relaxed in his care. Jeremy's home is very dog-friendly, which gives peace of mind and makes sure Lola feels spoiled and loved. I would absolutely use Jeremy's services again and recommend him as a dog sitter.
