I’m a substitute teacher, so my schedule is highly flexible! I try not to schedule subbing jobs during engagements, but they overlap seamlessly when it does happen.

I live alone with a fully enclosed backyard and space for a crate if needed! I prefer to sit in the pet’s home though because I like to keep your pet’s routine and environment familiar to make them most comfortable!

Information Jeremy M. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know about any specific social behaviors that are important to the safety of your pup and those around them. (Are they particular about their food or toys? Are they vocal? Are they social with other animals/people? Do they suffer from separation anxiety etc.) Also, any commands you use, behaviors you’d like reinforced or curbed, and specific ways that your dog communicates are highly important to me! I don’t have any preferences as far as breeds are concerned, although if your dog sheds a lot, a heads up—and a comb if you haven’t brushed them already—would be awesome!
A typical day
Depending on if we’re on home turf or not, we’d definitely hit up their favorite spots and routes, or find something similar to give your pup a refreshing spin on something familiar. I also love to take pictures, so scenic places are definitely in the cards.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Virgo (formerly Jeremy)! I’ve been dog sitting my friends’ dogs for about 10yrs, and working for a dog trainer for about 2yrs. (My parents tell me I’ve loved dogs my whole life, but I can only partly confirm.) A few things I like about dog sitting is discovering their personalities and learning how to interprete and anticipate their needs. I’m not intimidated by high-energy/high-intelligence dogs either! I like the challenge of keeping up with them. It also tricks me into staying active and feels less ridiculous than Zumba. 🤷🏽♂️ If there’s anything else you wanna know just ask? Uhh, this thing says I’ve gotta write 50 more words to move on so I’m just gonna keep typing stuff until the limit runs out I guess?
Reviews
Virgo is the best. My animals and house are always well taken care of.

Virgo(Jeremy) took such great care of our Sly. Sly’s an older dog and stuck in his ways and they made sure he was comfortable and his routine didn't change too much. Not to mention we came home to a clean house! We’ll definitely have them come sit for us again!

Jeremy did an excellent job taking care of our dog Sly and our house while we were gone over the holidays. Sly was the calmest he’s ever been after we get home… a sign he had a good time! We’ll definitely reach out to Jeremy when we have to travel again.

After my dogsitter canceled just a day before Thanksgiving, i found Jeremy and he offered to come over right away and to discuss the details for his stay in my place for the following days. Jeremy had a great way to connect to my girl and she fall in love with him right away. That's usually not her nature. I knew i can trust him and felt very lucky and relieved. He handled her accidents and her bloody heat without complaining, only with compassion for her situation. We hope we will see him again!!
