Lifelong dog lover but sadly can’t be an owner as travel overseas too often. I am very experienced handling dogs as I used to be a volunteer dog walker for Hearing Dogs for the deaf plus another charity called the Cinnamon Trust. I have also been walking my neighbours black Labrador once a week for the past six years (he is featured in my profile picture). I am a retired gentleman so I am generally available all the time. I can easily travel and am happy to take dogs in my vehicle. I walk for at least an hour every day and know many varied walking routes in the Aylesbury Vale area. I am friendly, approachable and easy to communicate with. Through membership of another website I walk two labradors separately over three separate walks each week. With regards to the two Labradors I occasionally have them for overnight stays at my home. I have been doing this since February 2022 and have built up deep trusted relationships with both dogs.

I was nervous about leaving my dog with a person as I have always used kennels. Joe arranged a meeting in advance to see if leaving Tillie would be a good fit. From the initial meeting, my nerves disappeared. Joe lives in a dog friendly house with plenty of space. He was happy to answer all of my questions and had questions of his own to ensure he had a good understanding of Tillie's needs. Whilst I was away, he sent me regular updates and pictures to show Tillie was being well looked after. 100% would use again!
Joe was a wonderful host for our border collie Kai whilst we were away, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly! From organising a meet beforehand to the updates during the stay, Joe was friendly, welcoming and full of fun. Kai had a wonderful time and I’m sure he’d have loved to have stayed longer! Thank you, see you again soon
Joe was amazing with our dog Stanley. He was patient and kind. He kept us updated every day. We could enjoy our holiday knowing that Stanley was in great hands. We highly recommend his services.

My two Border Terriers Ned and Cadi have just returned from Joe’s from a two day stay. They were looked after beautifully and we had regular updates and photos it was definitely home from home and we would definitely recommend Joe.
Bailey had a great time staying with Joe at his home at was obviously very well looked after throughout his stay. We’re on Rover because we’re no longer willing to put Bailey in kennels. While Bailey was staying with Joe we were kept up to date with how he was getting on and it made our time away all the better knowing Bailey was having a holiday of his own; lots of walks and plenty of time in the company of others (which he loves). We will ask Joe to look after Bailey again and would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I have been fully retired since 2013 and am generally available for dog walks most days between 10am and 5pm. I do travel both in the UK and overseas for a total of 3 months a year spread throughout the year.

I have a large very secure garden and keep no pets of my own at my property which is very private and detached. I live adjacent to open countryside and have a car which I am happy to take dogs in.
