I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 17 years and genuinely love getting to know each pet's unique personality. From energetic pups to shy rescue dogs and independent cats, I've cared for pets with all kinds of temperaments and needs. Friends and family like to joke that I'm a bit of a "dog whisperer" because even some of their more reserved dogs end up curled up beside me. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and lots of love. I'm also a volunteer with the SPCA of Wake County and am home full time, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, and affection throughout the day. As a pet owner myself, I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your furry family member with someone else. That's why I treat every pet as if they were my own and send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands. To provide the best experience possible, I intentionally host only one family's pets at a time. That means your pet gets individualized attention, a calm environment, and all the love and care they deserve while you're away.

My wife and I were very fortunate to find Jeovanna to take care of our dog Henry while we were traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday. This was our first experience with Rover, and Jeovanna made it a great one. We had been having trouble finding someone who could watch Henry, so we decided to try Rover and reached out to Jeovanna just a couple days before we left town. She was quick to respond to our initial message and we were able to set up a meet and greet the same day. She and her dog Brodie both did great with Henry when we met, so we booked her for the three nights we were gone. She was flexible with our schedule dropping off and picking up, helpfully administered a prescription for Henry in addition to food and walks, and sent us plenty of updates and pictures while we were away. We will definitely go to her the next time Henry needs a pet sitter!
Jeovanna took awesome care of our lab Alan! She was super accommodating of our drop off and pick up times (we were traveling and it saved us a ton of extra drive time!). I could tell Alan had an awesome time with her dog and got tons of love and exercise. We would recommend Jeovanna to anyone looking for a caring and loving sitter!

Schedule
I'm home full time, so pet care easily fits into my daily routine. Your pet won't be left alone for long stretches and will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddle breaks, medications, or sticking to their normal routine, I'm happy to accommodate what helps them feel most comfortable while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, smoke-free home with my friendly rescue husky, Brodie. While I have an unfenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and on leash. I take dogs on multiple walks each day and always follow each pet's routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. I treat every pet as if they were my own and believe communication is just as important, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos during their stay.

A typical day
Every dog is different, so I like to tailor the day to their personality and energy level. Most days include several walks, plenty of playtime, enrichment, potty breaks, and time to relax. If your dog loves adventures, we'll explore nearby parks and new smells. If they're more of a couch potato, I'm just as happy spending time giving belly rubs and keeping them company.
