I have a daily flexible working schedule. With a hybrid working schedule there’s really only 2 days a week that I can’t provide day-time care (Tues and Thurs). Otherwise I’m able to step away or take my computer to your pet and work. Weekends are almost always free unless I have them blocked off.

I am all about understanding the needs of a pet. All animals have different personalities and needs. If you make me aware of specifics I will do all that I can to meet your pet where they’re at. With the pets I’ve had in my personal life Ive learned to understand and care for cats and dogs with anxiety, elderly pets, reactive dogs, pets with special needs, and animals that are just a little more shy and cautious.

Any special needs. Whether that be a favorite toy or behavioral needs. Some dogs are great around smaller dogs but panic around larger ones. Some needs specific walking lengths. Some cats will be shy and would prefer to be left while others need that high attention. Let me know how I can show up for your pet so that they are in good hands while you’re away.
A typical day
Totally depends on the pet! Taking them for long walks or out to the yard for some more quiet playtime like fetch or sniffing time. Able to make stimulation treats like kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats, etc. Cats deserve just as much attention too! From playing with their favorite toys, making sure they get loving and treat stimulation. If your cat is one that loves to go outside I have experience with both walking cats or just keeping them in a closed outdoors space to let them have a change of scenery.

I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. There’s never been a time where I didn’t have either a cat and/or dog where I was one of the primary caretakers. I’ve experience with everything from puppies to elderly dogs and cats of all kinds. I currently have 2 cats and a dog myself! Experience with reactive and/or highly anxious dogs that need particular care. Pets have boundaries and specialized needs just like humans and I aim to learn exactly what each of them need to provide the best care for your furry family!
