When caring for pets in their own home, I maintain their regular routine to reduce stress, keep their space tidy, and make sure they feel secure and loved while their owners are away. It's very important for me to know key details about your pet ahead of time so I can provide the best and safest care possible. This includes understanding their shyness level, whether they’re nervous around strangers or other animals, and how they typically react to new environments. I also need to know if they have any signs of aggression whether it’s fear-based, territorial, or food related so I can handle situations calmly and appropriately. Additionally, knowing any specific triggers (like loud noises, certain handling, or other animals) helps me avoid stress and keep your pet comfortable. The more I know upfront, the more smoothly and safely everything will go!

When I watch pets, I love to keep them engaged with fun and enriching activities tailored to their personality and energy level. For dogs, this might include walks, playtime in the yard or park, fetch, tug-of-war, or practicing tricks and basic training for mental stimulation. For cats, I provide interactive play with toys, climbing or scratching posts, and lots of cuddles if they’re up for it. I also enjoy offering puzzle feeders or treat games to keep their minds active. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, entertained, and loved while in my care.

I needed a sitter last minute and was able to book Jennye. She kept me up to date on how my cats were doing and sent photos of them. She did a great job with both of my cats.

Jennye is AMAZING! She was so patient and sweet with our not so little fur baby. She took great care of our St. Bernard. Arrow loved her and had the best time. Was super flexible and we can’t recommend her enough!
Jennye has been a wonderful caretaker for my cats anytime I’ve needed her! I’ve never had any issues with her. She loves animals and will do whatever it takes to make sure their needs are met. She spends extra time with my cats just to make sure they don’t get too lonely. If you need a reliable pet sitter that with truly take cate of your pets, look no farther. Jennye is great!
