Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I currently work part time and am on call as needed, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs I care for. At home, my own dogs go out for walks at least twice a day, and I make sure they get lots of exercise, playtime, attention, and potty breaks throughout the day. On weekends, I’m usually home most of the time, so the dogs get even more company and care. I’m also home most evenings, so your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. I really enjoy sending photo and message updates throughout the day too, so you can see how your pup is doing and feel at ease while you’re away. I always try to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible because I know that helps them feel safe, relaxed, and happy.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my main focus. I take time to learn each dog’s routine and personality so they can feel relaxed and at home with me. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family and are always supervised. I only take a small number of dogs at a time so I can give each one plenty of attention, and I can separate them if needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I make sure they get regular potty breaks, walks, fresh water, and lots of love throughout the day. I also send photo and message updates so you can see how they’re doing and feel at ease while you’re away. I truly care for every dog like they’re my own and want them to feel happy, safe, and loved while in my care.

Information Jenny Z. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know a few important things to help keep them safe and comfortable. This includes any allergies, dietary needs, or health concerns I should be aware of. It’s also really helpful to know about their personality and routine, such as how they are with other dogs, strangers, or in new environments, and anything else that helps me understand them better so I can care for them in the best way possible. I’d also like to know how your dog does when left alone, including any signs of separation anxiety in case I ever need to step out for a short time. If your dog has any specific triggers like loud noises, other dogs, or strangers, please feel free to share that with me so I can help them feel safe and comfortable. It’s also helpful to know if your dog is fully potty trained, and whether they are familiar with potty pads if needed. If they are crate trained or comfortable spending time in a crate when necessary, that’s great to know as well. For the safety and well being of all dogs in my care, I kindly ask that any dog staying in my home is up to date on core vaccines including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. I also ask that proof of vaccination be provided before the booking is confirmed. I always want your pup to feel relaxed, understood, and at home, and the more I know about them, the better care I can give them.

A typical day

A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, potty breaks, and time outside. We usually start with a nice walk around the neighborhood so the dogs can get some exercise and explore. I keep a calm and supervised environment, and I adjust activities based on each dog’s energy level so they feel comfortable and happy. Whether they’re playful and active or more relaxed and cuddly, I make sure they feel at ease throughout the day. I like to include potty breaks throughout the day so they’re never waiting too long, along with playtime, cuddle time, and plenty of rest in between. I always follow your instructions and stick closely to your dog’s normal routine so they feel at home. I also send updates and photos so you can see how they’re doing and feel at ease while you’re away.

Pet care experience

I’ve been around dogs since i was a child and genuinely love caring for them. I have experience with puppies (my own dog gave birth to 9 puppies that I helped raise and care for!), senior dogs, and homes with multiple dogs. As a husky owner, I’m very comfortable with energetic small, medium, and large breeds and understand how important exercise, structure, and attention are for a happy dog. I’m also comfortable giving oral medications and know how important it is to give them properly and on schedule. I gained this experience while caring for my own husky when she needed medication as a puppy. Since I’m not currently working full time, I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs in my care. That means lots of supervision, playtime, walks, cuddles, and just keeping them company throughout the day. I only take 1 to 2 guest dogs at a time, depending on size, so each dog gets plenty of attention. If needed, I can safely separate dogs to make sure everyone feels comfortable and relaxed. My home is very dog friendly, and dogs are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re used to. I treat every dog like family and always send regular photo and message updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
