Both Andrew and I work from home, which means dogs are rarely left alone and are part of our daily routine. We are around throughout the day for regular breaks, walks, feeding, and companionship, rather than care being fitted in around long periods out of the house. This suits dogs who enjoy company, consistency, and a calm presence during the day, and it allows us to keep a close eye on how each dog is settling

Dogs are cared for in our home as part of our daily routine, with close supervision throughout the day as we both work from home. Our garden is fully fenced and secure, allowing safe outdoor time, and we live next to a common and forest, providing calm, enriching walks tailored to each dog’s age, energy level, and needs. We follow owners’ routines closely for feeding, walks, rest, and any special requirements, introduce dogs thoughtfully, and provide regular photo and message updates so owners feel reassured and confident that their dog is safe, settled, and happy while in our care

Information Jenny T. would like to know about your pet
Before a stay, it’s helpful to know your dog’s usual routine, feeding schedule, walking preferences, and any training cues they respond to. We also like to understand their temperament, energy level, likes and dislikes, and how they are with other dogs, especially if they are from the same household. Please let us know about any medical needs, medications, allergies, fears, or behaviours we should be aware of, as well as recall reliability if off lead walks are being considered. The more we know in advance, the easier it is for us to keep your dog settled, safe, and happy.
A typical day
Fun for us is about keeping dogs happy, relaxed, and mentally stimulated. We enjoy regular walks on Witley Common and in the surrounding forest, giving dogs plenty of opportunity to explore, sniff, and enjoy varied environments at a pace that suits them. Off-lead walks are only offered where appropriate and with the owner’s permission, and we are equally happy to keep dogs on the lead or long line if preferred. At home, dogs enjoy play, garden time, interaction, and enrichment, balanced with quieter time to rest and relax.

Pet care experience
We’re Jenny and Andrew, with our daughter Flynn (10). Dogs have been part of our everyday life for over 12 years and we have always had Boxers. We have also relied on home boarding and pet sitting services ourselves when arranging care for our own dogs, so we understand how important it is to feel reassured when you are away. We provide calm, home based boarding with a consistent daily routine, daily walks and outdoor time, and plenty of supervision. We are very comfortable caring for more than one dog from the same household and can easily accommodate families with two dogs. Dogs are introduced thoughtfully and routines are kept familiar, with regular photo and message updates so you can see that your dogs are settled, comfortable, and happy throughout their stay.

Jenny, Andrew and Flynn have been so very kind and caring towards our 2 dogs. One is a faddy eater and the other very anxious. We received plenty of photos showing that the dogs were totally relaxed and having a wonderful time. They will look forward to their next stay with plenty of exercise and play! Jenny and her family were fantastic. Guinea had the best time and was made to feel right at home from the start. We were kept up to date with all her goings on and will definitely be using Jenny again.
