Reliable Full-Time Pet Care Sitter

Hello, and nice to meet you! I’m a full-time Rover sitter and dog walker, and I take this work seriously because pet care is not just a side gig for me. I dedicate my time to giving each pet the care, attention, and routine they need to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs and am also open to caring for other animals. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, learning their personalities, and adapting my care to fit their individual needs. Book with me if you’re looking for a sitter who is reliable, communicative, detail-oriented, and attentive. I’m happy to provide detailed updates during your pet’s stay, walks, or drop-ins, including photos so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. If you love detailed reports, I’m your person! ;) For boarding, I like to provide a mix of enrichment, play, and relaxation depending on your dog’s personality. Some activities may include fetch, find-it games, snuffle mats, puzzle toys, walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of rest. If your dog is more of a lazy potato, that’s perfectly fine too — they’ll get a cozy, calm environment, affection, and whatever helps them feel most at home. I value your insight as the person who knows your pet best, so please feel free to share their routine, preferences, quirks, comfort items, triggers, medical needs, or anything else that would help me care for them well. The more I know, the better I can make their experience. I also have a 5-year-old Corgi of my own. She is playful, chill, and delightfully lazy. She is well-mannered, well-behaved, and used to being around many different dog personalities and breeds, from Greyhounds to Maltese Shih Tzus. She enjoys having dog friends over and is generally a calm companion. Her one little quirk is that she may bark excitedly when she hears the doorbell because, to her, that means a new friend has arrived! I look forward to meeting you and caring for your furry family member with the same thoughtfulness and attention I would want for my own dog. :)

Jenny was an excellent dog sitter. She was very thorough in caring for Zeke, and gave us detailed daily reports. Zeke was in very good hands, which removed any anxiety for us.

Jenny is the best rover we have ever had. Always keeping our pup’s best interests at heart, learning from his behaviors and providing updates when necessary. We can always have a peace of mind when we leave for travel and Jenny is taking care of our boy.

Jenny was great! Our dog seemed so happy when she was there and she was extremely reliable, even coming in a major snowstorm.

Hooper had a fun time at Jenny’s. She took great care of him and taught him some new activities like the snuffle mat and the treat ball. I also appreciated and looked forward to her very detailed recap of each day along with lots of pictures. I’d be happy to have Hooper stay at Jenny’s when we’re out of town again.

Schedule

I do Rover full-time, so pet care is part of my everyday routine, not something I squeeze in around another job. I’m typically available during the times pet parents need help most, especially during business hours for walks, drop-ins, and daytime care. Because this is my full-time work, I have the flexibility to provide consistent care and accommodate many different routines, including walks, drop-ins, boarding, medication schedules, feeding instructions, potty breaks, and other special requests. I do my best to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

I may not have a large fenced yard, but your dog will still have plenty of opportunities for safe, supervised outdoor time. I don’t believe in just putting dogs outside and hoping they entertain themselves; I prefer to actively engage with them through walks, sniff time, enrichment, and play. There is a trail right behind my house that leads to a park, and I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large open field nearby. Dogs can enjoy walks, fresh air, and extra space while safely on a long leash. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions closely and make sure the basics are covered: food, water, potty breaks, exercise, comfort, and attention. I’m also happy to provide plenty of photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing throughout the day. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and try to leave the areas I use tidy, including food spaces and litter boxes.

A typical day

Dog walks: Every dog walk is a little different because every dog is different. For high-energy dogs, I can walk at a faster pace to help them burn off energy. For dogs who prefer a slower adventure, I’m happy to match their pace and give them plenty of time to sniff to their heart’s content. Sometimes we may not travel far, but all that sniffing can still make for a very satisfying walk! I’ll also tailor each walk for dogs with special needs, anxiety, leash reactivity, senior-dog needs, or other behavioral considerations. Please let me know about any triggers, routines, or handling needs so I can keep your dog safe. Drop-ins: Drop-ins are centered around your pet’s needs first. I’ll follow your instructions for food, water, potty breaks, litter boxes, medication reminders, and any other care needs. Once the essentials are done, I’ll spend the rest of the visit doing what your pet enjoys — playtime, pets, brushing, cuddles, quiet company, or giving them space if they’re shy. I also try to tidy up the areas I use, such as food areas or litter boxes, so you don’t come home to a mess. You’ll receive updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away. Boarding: A typical boarding day depends on your dog’s personality, energy level, and routine. Some dogs enjoy interactive activities like fetch, walks on nearby trails, find-it games, puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and playtime. Others prefer a calmer stay with cuddles, naps, quiet companionship, and a cozy place to relax. I tailor each boarding experience once I learn more about your pet’s habits, quirks, and routine. My goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible and help your dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while staying with me.
