The safety and well being of your pet are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect their established routines and follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and household rules. I take the time to build trust with each pet and ensure they feel comfortable in their environment. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of reliable and attentive care. I maintain a clean and safe environment, keep a close eye on pets during walks and playtime, and provide plenty of affection and companionship. A typical day
A typical day with the pets I care for is active, fun, and focused on their comfort and happiness. For dog walks, I make sure each walk is more than just exercise as we explore the neighbourhood, take time to sniff and discover new scents, and enjoy a pace that matches your dog’s energy level. I love adding mental stimulation through simple games like “find it,” basic training cues, and positive reinforcement during walks. If we’re at a nearby park, I’ll spend extra time letting your dog safely explore, play, and burn off energy. For drop in visits, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine such as feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and lots of attention and affection so they feel relaxed and cared for while you’re away. I always tailor each visit to the pet’s personality and needs, whether that means a high energy adventure or a calm, comforting check in.

Pet care experience
I've been caring for animals for over 5 years and have always had a strong love for pets. I currently have a 4 year old dog and a 13 year old cat, and I also help care for a 2 year old family cat. Being a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone reliable and caring to look after your furry family members. I have experience with dogs and cats of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping their regular routine, I will provide attentive and compassionate care tailored to their needs. I take pride in being dependable, patient, and communicative, and I'll always treat your pet as if they were my own. I'll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Please note that although my Rover profile settings may indicate that I do not accept large dogs (41–100 lbs), I am comfortable caring for and walking dogs up to approximately 55 lbs. If your dog falls within this range, please feel free to reach out and provide some information about their temperament and leash manners. I am happy to discuss whether I would be a good fit for your pet’s needs.
