Pet care experience
I've had at least one dog for most of my life, and I love dogs. (Sometimes my husband wishes I treated him as well as I treat dogs. :-) ). One of my favorite activities is going on walks and hikes with my dogs, and we go on a daily walk in an off-leash dog area. Your fur baby, would, of course, be included in our daily walks, assuming they're well-socialized and physically able to go on walks. We also own a large off-grid property in the forest less than an hour from Bozeman and we go there regularly in the late Spring, Summer and early Fall. It's a doggy paradise and we'd love to have your special friend enjoy it with us. (Note it's not suitable for dogs with long fur during summer months as there are lots of burrs there. Check with me about dates we'll be going if you'd like your dog to get to enjoy a day there or if you'd like to avoid them going.)
Reviews
Jenny is amazing!! I booked extremely last minute and she was very accommodating, kind and treated my pup like her own. They went on hikes, outings and walks everyday! She sent pictures and videos throughout his stay, which was so comforting and made my day! 100% will be booking again in the future and highly recommended her 🙂
Jenny did an amazing job taking care of our boys as we passed through Bozeman and did some Yellowstone activities! She provided amazing love an attention to our senior chihuahua and even let him join in on a game mahjong. Our other dog lover her yard, walks, and got along great with her dogs! She took great cafe of our rabbit, Sam, as well! She was communicative, sending loads of videos and pics, and was highly flexible with our schedule. If you're looking for someone to provide fantastic care to your pets, you can trust in her. We would definitely hire her again!
If you are reading this review, you are taking the time to search for someone who will care for and love your pet as much as you do. I can assure you, you need look no further than Jenny. We often evaluate people on how they are with their animals and judge how often they exercise and play with their furry friends or if they go to the vet regularly and when needed and that is important and something that Jenny actively does. But in reality, it's when we watch a person's pets interact with them that we can get a better view of how they are with animals. Over the years I cannot think of a time where Jenny wasn't surrounded by George, Mozi, Little Dude or Moxie. If they weren't cuddled up close to her, she was in their direct orbit. They watch her as she gets ready to leave the house hoping they are able to go with her, they sit at her feet when she works on the computer and they surround her when she's watching TV. When they have been sick or hurt, she is the first one in the car to take them to the vet and sits with them while they recover. There is no other person they would rather be with! Bozeman is an incredibly pet friendly town and Jenny doesn't just care for her dogs but those of others as well. Whether jogging on Linear Trail or up Pete's Hill, she comes into contact with many other animals and is as kind and friendly to them as she is to her own. Jenny has all the paper credentials to be a great match on Rover but it's what's not on paper that is the convincing point. Watching her love and care for her own dogs is reason enough to consider her as a connection point for you and your pet!
Jenny has a long history of providing her dogs with loving care and respect. She is affectionate with friends' dogs, and she enjoys outings in groups of canines and people. She will be a great dog sitter. Mary H.

We have a large fenced yard and an indoor space which I've set up as a doggy playroom :-) We have a doggy door, which your dog would have access to (if appropriate), and in the summer we tend to leave the back door open anyway, leaving free access to our large, fenced yard. There's also plenty of space for a crate if your dog feels more secure in a crate during the night or for portions of the day. I'm very happy to send photos and videos to keep you updated on your pets adventures while you're on your own adventure.

Information Jenny L. would like to know about your pet
In mosts cases a daily walk is included while your dog is boarding with me. How is your dog's leash etiquette? Is your dog well socialized? How is your dog's recall? Are they trust-worthy off leash while hiking or in an off-leash dog park?
A typical day
Walks and hikes are our favorite part of every day, but there will also be plenty of indoor and outdoor play. Depending on the temperaments involved, this may be chasing balls and frisbees, sniffing out a nice spot for some alone time in the shade, playing tug-of-war, splashing in our local creek or taking a turn as sentry to keep the magpies out of the yard. And then, of course, there will be plenty of cuddle time and napping to recuperate and get ready for the next round of play!

Availability
I work part time from home, so I'm very available to care for pets and keep them entertained and feeling comfortable in a new space. I'm available all days of the week, and would love to have your fur baby join our family while you're away.
