A loving and caring home
I grew up with animals in my home and often took care of my neighbor's dogs and cats when I was younger 🐾 I have taken care of other's cats, dogs, mice, bunnies, and many other pets over the years. I used to volunteer at a dog shelter and have taken care of everything from puppies to pit bulls. I have the most experience with Newfoundlands and big dogs but I have lots of experience taking care of smaller dogs as well :) I know every dog has individual needs, but all of them require gentle understanding <3 some dogs are command breeds, who only reply to direct commands, while other dogs are gentle breeds, who only reply to an encouraging, high pitched voice, and lots of nurturing. I have taken care of puppies and older dogs as well, who also have very different needs. Puppies need lots of attention, play, and mental stimulation while older dogs need gentle pets and a tranquil environment. (I like to put on Forrest noises like birds chirping for older dogs while they nap.) I am very comfortable giving medication and massages in case of an injury as well.

I like to make sure the fur babies I take care of feel safe. I know it's difficult for a pet to be away from their family and I understand if they need to howl or pace to self soothe. I think play and affection are important to keeping a dog healthy so depending on the dog, I will dance with them, play with them, and/ or give them lots of ear scratches and reassurance. If they're older or anti social I can of course just let them be and put on soft calming Forrest sounds while keeping an eye on them.

Do not recommend this pet sitter. Tried to lie about walking my dog an hour and a half. I checked video footage and it was less than a half hour. She also didn’t refund me. It is very disturbing.
I do not recommend this walker. She lied about walking my dog for an hour. I caught her on video camera footage. She also has a terrible attitude.
Do not use this walker. I booked an hour walk, and I checked the camera footage and she did less than a half hour. She logged out after an hour and a half. She won’t give me a refund for her fraudulent services. I’m considering not using Rover again.
Jenny is thoughtful, kind, and incredible with our dog Duke. We ended up needing more last minute coverage than we expected and she was accommodating and flexible to make sure our dog got the love and care he needed when we were away. We cannot recommend her more!
