Hi there! My name is Jenny and I have owned and operated a 5-star dog walking & cat sitting company in Long Island City, NY, since 2013. My husband, sons, and I moved to Charleston (Daniel Island/Wando area) this past summer, so I made the difficult decision to say good-bye to my business in NY. Dogs & cats are total individuals, just like humans. Each has their own personality and needs and I am a big believer in giving them the individual attention they deserve. I am certified in Dog & Cat first-aid and CPR and have experience caring for a large variety of breeds, from 8 week old puppies, senior dogs who need some extra help getting up/walking and even dogs with disabilities (expressing bladders). I have lived with kitties as long as I can remember and have one of my own. I am familiar with a large variety of pet gear (harnesses, leashes, crates, wee-wee pad holders, supplements, treats, etc. - you name it, I've most likely used it!). There is not much more that I love than enjoying the outdoors with a doggy companion - walking through nature trails and playing fetch or snuggling up with a sweet kitty.

Jenny took such great care of my cat McGee. She gave great updates, sent so many cute pictures, and left my house looking even better than when I left!! I’ll definitely be asking her to check in on my boy in the future.
Jenny left amazing feedback and pictures on her visits with our two boys. The cats were adjusting to a new place as we just moved and she took extra steps to make sure they felt safe while we were gone.
Jenny and family were amazing! Our boarding reservation fell through and we were scrambling to find care last minute for our 3 month old pup. We met with Jenny and instantly felt comfortable with our little furry princess staying with her & family. The pictures and updates over the week were a highlight for my boys who enjoyed seeing our pups adventures on “her vacation” while we were on ours.
Always a great day when Ava can spend it at Jenny’s! I forgot her food and water bowl but she provided her extras and I really appreciate that!

Everything was perfect! Jenny was fantastic with taking care of our cat Gracie while we were away for a long weekend. We appreciated her stopping over ahead of time to meet Gracie and review details. Her communication was excellent. Pictures during her visits were a fun bonus. We were very happy and comfortable knowing that Gracie was well taken care of! Will look to use Jenny again!

Programa
I am currently a stay at home Mom, so I am available much of the day to devote my time to your furry loved ones and my weekends are even more flexible. **Important note about my Monday through Friday availability: I am only available for walking and drop-in visits Tuesdays & Thursdays between 8am-12pm and after 5pm**

I prefer to have meet & greets in person before I begin caring for a dog or cat, so that I can learn behaviors, likes, dislikes and make sure your pet is comfortable with me entering your home. I always treat your home, as if it were my own and leave things as found or neater. My home is pet friendly. I have a very social and sweet mixed breed, Luna (3 yrs), who makes friends easily and a senior cat , Simba (10 yrs), who grew up with dogs and gets along with them easily. My two sons (6 & 3 yrs) are big animal lovers and are kind and gentle with all they meet (even bugs!) I do require that dogs staying at my home are very kind and comfortable with children, as my boys are a big presence here, and it is extremely important that your dog is not fearful or reactive for the safety of all involved.

Depending on your pup & his/her needs, I am happy to take a neighborhood walk or play fetch in the yard, work on new training or if time permits, take to a dog-friendly location for an adventure.
