Experienced and Reliable Pet Sitter
I have been around dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals is second nature to me. Growing up, my responsibilities included daily walks, feeding, and litter box maintenance, giving me early experience in animal care. I've handled dogs of all sizes, including large breeds like Great Danes. While in college, I volunteered for four years at the local humane society, where I walked dogs and spent time socializing with cats, assisting with playtime, and helping with cleaning duties. Following that, I worked for a year with a local pet-sitting business, handling dog walking and daily visits for both dogs and cats. I also regularly pet sit for friends and family, so I’m very familiar with a wide range of pet personalities and needs. Since 2023, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience through Rover, caring for pets with a wide variety of personalities, routines, and medical needs. I’ve worked with both dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’ve also gained experience administering pet medications and am comfortable giving insulin shots to dogs, using inhalers for cats, and managing both oral and liquid medications. My husband and mom also help me with pet sitting and animal care, so your pets may receive love and attention from our family. We work together to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Currently, we have an 18 year old senior cat, Princess, with kidney disease and GI issues, so I’m very experienced with caring for older pets, monitoring health concerns, handling special diets and medications, and managing unexpected messes or extra care needs. We recently lost our beloved cat Tony, who was a lively and affectionate companion, and caring for him through his senior years deepened my understanding of the patience, compassion, and attentiveness pets deserve as they age. My husband and I also had a Shar Pei/Pitbull mix named Athena, who passed away four years ago and is still deeply missed. Athena had a gentle and unique personality, and our bond taught me so much about the joy and responsibility of pet care. I approach every animal I care for as if they were my own, and I truly enjoy spending time with all the fur babies I meet.

As a pet parent myself, I understand how stressful it can be to leave your furry family members behind when you travel. I aim to make this experience as easy and worry-free as possible. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making them my top priority. Each visit includes detailed updates and plenty of photos so you feel connected while you’re away. I ensure pets are well-fed, walked, and in a clean, safe environment. I promptly clean any messes and freshen up litter boxes during every visit, always making sure their food and water are replenished. I also dedicate time to giving them affection and engaging in playtime, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved. You can trust that your pets are in caring, attentive hands with me.

Jennifer did a wonderful job with my cat. I had to travel overseas last minute for a funeral, and it was the first time I was going to be leaving my cat with a sitter. Jennifer and her husband were quick to respond and also agreed to do a meet and greet with us beforehand. They were very nice and confident, and my normally shy cat responded to them well, even though they were strangers. They sent many photos and updates while I was away which gave me a lot of comfort during a stressful time. My cat grew to love them and seemed so happy, which made me happy!
Jennifer is fantastic! Super attention to details and gave my cats all the love right away! My cats seem to love her right back too! So thankful for the peace of mind her excellent care offers while I am away from my babes!
Jennifer is our go to cat sitter. She always takes care of our senior cat and goes above and beyond to ensure our girl is healthy and safe.
Jennifer has been my partner and I’s cat sitter for our 3 cats for the past 3 years. We always appreciate how detailed she is with her visit notes and makes sure to confirm that she gave our cat his oral medication each day. Every time we go out of town, we have zero anxiety about our pets because of how reliable she is and we know they are getting lots of playtime and love while we’re gone. We’re moving out of state and wish we could bring her with us! I will never stop recommending her to my friends and coworkers.
As usual, Jenny took wonderful care of our Tabby Trio, and our home. The Trio was very healthy and happy when we got home, enjoying meals, treats and plenty of playtime with Jenny. She provides us with peace of mind, providing nice updates and pics.

Schedule
Pet care fits well into my routine, even with my full-time job as a scientist. My flexible schedule allows me to do morning and evening visits, and my weekends are open for pet sitting. If a request doesn’t fit my personal schedule, my husband or mom can be available to help with the client’s permission, which allows us to offer more flexibility and availability.
