Safety, trust & environment

I consider my pets as my children and treat them with love and great care. I believe a person's energy affects how a dog reacts to them, so I do my best to stay calm around dogs in general. I am not super strict and will give love and kisses and bring excited energy when the situation is safe to do so. I like to train my dogs on their basics skills and tricks because I do believe that makes life easier for everyone. I am not opposed to crate training or using it when necessary.

A typical day

In my house, I have a set routine for my own dogs, where I let them out to potty every morning, afternoon (if they want) and evening. I feed my dogs 2 times a day and I do not leave any food out. I always make sure they have access to water though. I give them a snack around noon each day and a dental chew every other night. I have a bell tied to my back door, so if they ever need to go outside, they just ring it and I let them out. I play with them on and off throughout the day and have plenty of toys and games for them to enjoy.

Pet care experience

I currently have 3 dogs, 2 are foster fails. One from a rescue I volunteered for and the other through a family member who made a rash decision to buy a puppy. All 3 dogs are different in size, small, medium and large. All are tan and was not planned that way. Age range is 12, 11, and 8. My oldest has to have multiple kinds of eyedrops 3 times a day. He is unfortunately blind, but he is still happy. I have experience with fostering dogs and working with rescue organizations.

I highly recommend Jennifer. She is a true dog and animal lover. She is detail oriented, reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. She also has many experiences with taking care of a variety of dogs. What I admire about her is that she is attentive and takes the time to understand any dog's unique needs and follow through on a pet owner's care instructions carefully. My mind is always at peace when she helps take care of my fur baby, whether it be a quick check-in or dog sitting.
