Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 16+ years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I recently relocated to the Traverse City area after living in Florida for 5 years, where I was an active and highly rated Rover sitter. Over the years, I’ve owned a Golden Retriever, a Brittany Spaniel, and currently share my home with a 6-year-old rescue mix and a lovable Great Dane. Caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life, and I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels. I offer dependable dog walking and drop-in visits during the day or evening, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, medication, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, you can count on me to provide attentive, loving care. I was recently laid off from my marketing career, which means I currently have excellent weekday availability and a flexible schedule. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets and help make your time away as stress-free as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow all given instructions to keep your dog safe in your home. I am very familiar with using prong collars safely, harnesses, and gentle leaders to ensure safe walks. If other dogs or people need to be avoided on walks, that is no problem. I always make sure your dog is crated when leaving (if requested) and that your door is locked behind me.

Wow! Jennifer stepped in for a last minute request to check in on Lily while I had to be away for a family emergency. She was amazing, sending pics and updates. It took such a weight off my mind knowing she was there.
Jennifer followed directions perfectly and was so patient with my very skittish terrier-Chihuahua mix. She is a great pet sitter!
