Canine Retreat in the Country
I'm excited to be back to doing what I love best after some time away raising a kiddo and creating a home dreamy for humans and furry friends alike. Treat your canine friend to a retreat in the country and feel comfortable leaving them in the hands of a professional and certified trainer. With over forty years of experience with animals and as a reputable Trainer for an Assistance Dog organization, i have a strong background with animals and can provide a safe and fun environment. My home is a canine paradise! It's quiet and serene with plenty of shade, a fully fenced yard, and a private dirt road that meanders through the countryside right out our back door, - perfect for walks for the dogs. There ia a resident Labrador retrievers named "Heart" and a Bernese Mountaing Dog named "Stormy" They are great ambassadors and love to host furry friends. I can also offer training, baths/grooming just ask if you think you would like this. We look forward to your dogs vacay with us. Why I love dog sitting I know when I leave for vacation, knowing my animals are in good hands allows for me to relax and enjoy my time away worry free. Animal owners are some of the best people I have known and I love meeting new friends, human and furry alike. I work part time from home, so it makes for the ideal environment to incorporate dog sitting into the day. I care for the dogs as if they were my own and I hope that you will allow us the honor to care for you animals(s).

I can assure you that your beloved dogs will be safe and have a rewarding experience.
I just picked my dog, Maya up from her second stay with Jennifer and it was clear she wanted to stay with Jennifer! She kept running back into Jennifer's house when I called her to go. At other places she ahs stayed, when I come to pick her up she jumps into my arms and clings until I leave. She LOVES staying with Jennifer though. Jennifer's house is so peaceful and her yard is awesome and her family loves Maya too. She treats Maya like her own family dog, so Maya feels like it's her home. I can't recommend Jennifer enough, she is so responsible and makes sure Maya gets her meds and her special food and she checks her out for any itches or anything just like I do. Jennifer's place is the BEST. I am so grateful she's here for my Maya. It puts my mind completely at ease knowing Maya has this second home when I need it.
Our dog Scout is like a child to us. So leaving her with someone new can be stressful and emotional. But Jennifer was by far the best sitter we've had to date. Her calm and kind energy put us at ease right away... as well as Scout's. She was super communicative while we were away (which we love!) and clearly an experienced dog person - as observed by my boyfriend and I when we dropped off Scout. We are very happy to have found Jennifer :) - Lisa and Angus
Jennifer was awesome with my little rescue dog, Maya. Her home is warm and safe and Maya was happy when I picked her up. Jennifer gave Maya her meds and fed her her special food and was very attentive to the details of Maya's needs. I already have another reservation for Maya with Jennifer.
Duke had a great one-night stay with Jen! Even though it was a quick trip, we still got the same updates as we're accustomed to with Jen (with pictures!). He now knows exactly where he's going when we drive to her house and he is beyond excited to get there!
Duke had another great stay with Jen! He was happy and tired when we picked him up- I can tell he really feels at home with her. Jen truly goes above and beyond the call for the dogs in her care. When we forgot to bring Duke's medication with us (and didn't have time before our flight to go home and pick it up) she offered multiple solutions- including driving to Duke's vet (about a half hour away) to pick up a new prescription. While we found another solution, it made me feel so good that she cared enough about our dog that she would offer to do that. I feel completely at ease leaving Duke with her when we have to travel without him.

Programa
I am currently working from home. I leave the house on occasion but can either take your dog with me for a car ride if they like that, leave your dog home or if you would prefer, crate it for a short time. I am never gone long when dogs are n my care.

Here's where we'll take our walks I live on a quiet, quintessental West County dead-end dirt road in the country. There is little traffic on this road since there are only about 10 houses each on 5 plus acres. Nearby are the Sonoma Coast beaches. On occasion we take the dogs to Ragle Ranch or the many other endless opportunities there are for us here in Sonoma County! We live in a 1,300 square foot, open floor plan home where the dogs have plenty of space as well as it's easy to keep an eye on them. Plenty of safe toys are provided.
