Canine Retreat in the Country
I'm excited to be back to doing what I love best after some time away raising a kiddo and creating a home dreamy for humans and furry friends alike. Treat your canine friend to a retreat in the country and feel comfortable leaving them in the hands of a professional and certified trainer. With over forty years of experience with animals and as a reputable Trainer for an Assistance Dog organization, i have a strong background with animals and can provide a safe and fun environment. My home is a canine paradise! It's quiet and serene with plenty of shade, a fully fenced yard, and a private dirt road that meanders through the countryside right out our back door, - perfect for walks for the dogs. There ia a resident Labrador retrievers named "Heart" and a Bernese Mountaing Dog named "Stormy" They are great ambassadors and love to host furry friends. I can also offer training, baths/grooming just ask if you think you would like this. We look forward to your dogs vacay with us. Why I love dog sitting I know when I leave for vacation, knowing my animals are in good hands allows for me to relax and enjoy my time away worry free. Animal owners are some of the best people I have known and I love meeting new friends, human and furry alike. I work part time from home, so it makes for the ideal environment to incorporate dog sitting into the day. I care for the dogs as if they were my own and I hope that you will allow us the honor to care for you animals(s).

Jen was absolutely wonderful with our dogs while we were away. She is very communicative, was flexible when some of our plans changed, and we received so many great updates and photos during their stay. After this experience with Jen, we feel very confident and comfortable leaving our babies with Jen when we can't take them with us. Highly recommend!
Jennifer was wonderful with my sweet dog. My dog Agnes boarded in her house and had a wonderful time with other Dog friends and jennifer’s love and care. I highly recommend her! Really great human being!
Jennifer is amazing! This was Mandy's first stay and she had a wonderful time. Lots of loving attention and walks and playtime. Jen sent me photos and text updates on her activities. I was having a great weekend in Lake Tahoe with my family and I know Mandy had a fabulous time with Jen and her dogs! Jennifer is my go to sitter from now on.
Jen was great! We dropped Cooper off for the day and felt very comfortable leaving, knowing he was in great hands! Her two dogs were very sweet and were great companions for Cooper during his day there. When we picked Cooper up it was obvious he had a great day and was well taken care of. We would definitely bring Cooper back again when we are in the area.
My dogs were tired and content - thanks for a great day!

Schedule
I am currently working from home. I leave the house on occasion but can either take your dog with me for a car ride if they like that, leave your dog home or if you would prefer, crate it for a short time. I am never gone long when dogs are n my care.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I live on a quiet, quintessental West County dead-end dirt road in the country. There is little traffic on this road since there are only about 10 houses each on 5 plus acres. Nearby are the Sonoma Coast beaches. On occasion we take the dogs to Ragle Ranch or the many other endless opportunities there are for us here in Sonoma County! We live in a 1,300 square foot, open floor plan home where the dogs have plenty of space as well as it's easy to keep an eye on them. Plenty of safe toys are provided.
