I work from 8am-4:30pm so I am able to walk dogs in the evenings everyday of the week. I can also take care of dogs at their house at night so they feel comfortable.

I feel it is important to let the animals stay in their own environment so they feel at home and comfortable. It is already stressful having someone else watching them, so I don’t like to add anymore stress to the animals. I have dog sat/house sit for many years for 2 Schnauzers that have high separation anxiety and require meds on a daily basis. I provide the med at their scheduled times. I let them out as needed to potty. We go for walks and I play with them. I love cuddle with my furry friends while watching tv or reading a book. I also watch a dog that is very weary of strangers due to an abusive past so I take extra time caring for her and letting her know she is safe and that I am there to help her. She is super comfortable with me now.

I like to know if the dog gets along with other animals? If they get along with kids? Do the have separation anxiety? If they are on medications, when and how they need to be given? Any special instructions?
A typical day
First it depends on what the dog owner likes for me to do with their dog however if there is no restrictions I love to take them on walks, go int he back yard and play ball. I like to take the dogs in the car to get pup cups if and only if the owner says it’s okay.

I have been dog sitting for 8 years now. I have watched all size dogs. I also have 3 Boston Terriers of my own ranging from the age of 9-3 years old.

I have a 8 year old Doberman rescue dog who had a traumatic past, was surrendered by his previous owner of 8 years, he is very strong and pulls on a leash she was very patient and loving with him as she came and got to know him and his quirky ways, he also did a great job with keeping his training going as I was gone. Medication given at appropriate times and multiple pictures of her and him interacting. I would definitely recommend her for any animal sitting job and she is the only person I will use in the future.
Jeniffer did such a great job taking care of dozer! By far the best decision I’ve ever made to let her care for my little man! It was hard to find someone willing to take care of Dozer, but she did not hesitate to jump to the challenge when I had to go out of town. I would highly recommend her again if I had to leave my Rottweiler. Dozer absolutely fell in love with her because of how playful and patient she was.
I do not let anyone else but Jennifer take care of my babies…my dog is a pit mix and was not treated very well before I got her…and she has issues…Jennifer took the time to get acquainted with my Maia and to make her feel safe and loved. I trust her implicitly with every aspect of my babies care…I also have two cats and Jennifer takes time to make them feel comfortable as well. I cannot recommend her enough! She is AMAZING!
Jennifer has been watching my two dogs for the last 3-4 years. My older dog requires medications and my younger one was a puppy during some of her pet sitting jobs. Jennifer is great with the dogs and will send pictures of your sweet pups. She has no issues giving medications and is quick to respond to texts and phone calls. She is very flexible and trustworthy. She has stayed at my house a dozen times house and dog sitting for me.
