Hi, I’m Jen! I’m a dog lover and proud rescue dog mom to Miya, who I adopted from Turkey. We’ve lived together in Toronto, Vancouver and now Maynooth, so I know how important it is for dogs to feel safe and settled in new environments. Miya was very nervous when I first got her, so I’ve learned a lot about patience, understanding different personalities, and helping dogs build confidence. She’s come a long way and is now a happy, loving dog, but still likes to take her time getting comfortable with new people. My partner, Des and I live in a quiet neighbourhood with a fully fenced garden, and we both work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company and attention. I’ll treat yours like one of my own and keep you updated with photos while you’re away. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel happy, safe and completely at home. ❤️

Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I work from home, so I'm around all day and have a flexible schedule. I take my dog, Miya, out for walks 2-3 times a day, and I'd be happy to include your dog in our routine. Between walks, playtime in the garden, and lots of attention, your dog will have plenty of company and care throughout the day.

I believe being attentive and understanding a dog's body language is one of the most important parts of caring for them. Every dog is different, so I like to get to know their personality and routine. My priority is always to keep your dog safe and comfortable. I'll make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and time to rest. On walks, I'll always keep them on a leash. At home, they'll have access to our fully fenced garden where they can safely play, explore, or just enjoy the sunshine.

It really depends on the dog and what they enjoy! Most dogs love getting out for walks, exploring new smells, and of course a few treats along the way (with your permission!). At home, we have a fully fenced garden where they can play, chase a ball, or just enjoy some fresh air. I'll always tailor activities to your dog's age, energy level, and personality.
