About Jennifer V.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
Your pets are your family and your home is your sanctuary. I truly understand this and enjoy making sure your pet and your needs are fully respected. I do this through good communication and empathy.
Information Jennifer V. would like to know about your pet
Routine: feeding schedule, walk routine, favorite scritch spot and games, leash habits (reactivity, pulling), quirks, what you're working on in training, separation anxiety, crate training
A typical day
I love to play, learn, communicate. Dog training, playing with cats, throwing a ball or tug-of-war. I enjoy creatively reinforcing whatever you are working on with your dog, or just relaxing and saying hi. Walks can be with or without my dogs depending on need and compatibility.

My favorite clients are always learning something new or honing an existing skill. Lifelong animal lover with an abiding passion for cats, dogs, horses, and all other critters. Compassionate, energetic, knowledgeable, and committed Mom to 2 grown humans, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. Level 1 certified dog walker through Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, Maine. Fear-Free Shelter Certificate. Good communicator, patient, love learning and teaching with my "students"! A retired massage therapist, former touring musician, current language student, elder caregiver, and MFA candidate, I look forward to caring for your pets as part of my daily routine.
