I bring a fun, bubbly personality to every visit—but what truly sets me apart is the way I understand animal behavior. As a psychology major, I’ve trained my own dogs using positive reinforcement and classical conditioning (Pavlov’s principles), focusing on consistency, trust, and communication rather than punishment. Because of this approach, my dogs were well-mannered, confident, and happy: they never chewed household items, had house accidents, or developed anxiety-based behaviors. I believe great pet care is about more than supervision—it’s about guiding behavior with patience, encouragement, and love!

This was an outstanding experience and we will gladly trust our dog (Miss Maya) with Jennifer and family in the future. We booked last minute but she was quick to respond and accommodate us. Throughout her stay, we received frequent updates — a lot of pictures and videos. Jennifer watched Miss Maya for us two days in a row while work on the house was being done. In the car ride out on the second day, Miss Maya was anxious (we’d bounced around to different locations for over a week). Once we got to Jennifer’s home, however, she immediately relaxed. She trotted up to the door, tail wagging, and was clearly pleased to be back for another day. Jennifer’s children were so gentle and kind with Miss Maya. I can’t say enough good things about her. Thank you for taking such good care of Miss Maya!
Jennifer and her family was so great with my Ginger! She sent plenty of pictures and videos that gave us the freedom to enjoy our get away! We will definitely use her again!
She’s going a great job with the babies. They really enjoy playing with her.
Jennifer was awesome. My pup end up cutting her tail somehow between my house and hers. She was bleeding. She ended up taking her to the vet several times to have her treated. She sent me pictures, videos and info every day. I appreciated everything she did. I will definitely use her again in the future.

Schedule
I work a couple hours during the day and take care of my two kids (3 and 6) at the house. I often have online classes so there’s always something to do for me at home! My kids miss having our dog, Big Boy, around to pet and snuggle. He was 16 when he passed away.😥 We have a lot of love to give and miss having a dog!

Safety, trust & environment
I am a non-smoker with a clean house. I have white carpet😂 but have a handy carpet cleaner in case your pet has an accident😜 I also have multiple dog leashes and couplers so can walk three dogs at a time. I have carpeted stairs- which is easier for older pups. I do have large crates if your pup needs to be crated (unless they are potty trained -then that would not be necessary). Dogs are allowed on my couches. I have lots of cozy blankets! It’s a quiet end of street neighborhood. Dogs are all “puppies” to me and I love them!
A typical day
I have a whole tub of doggy toys and leashes. I live on a trail path so walks are always happening. My backyard is up against a park also-so plenty of room to walk in all environments.
