I've lived with animals my entire life — there's never been a stretch without a cat or a dog in the house. I've raised three puppies from their chaotic early weeks all the way to well-mannered adulthood, and I've spent just as many years around cats, from skittish rescues to laid-back lap cats who never leave your side. That mix of experience means I'm comfortable with the very different things dogs and cats need — walks, playtime, and training cues for one; a calm hand, a clean litter box, and patience for the other. Years of pet-sitting for other families has taught me to read what an individual animal needs rather than treat every visit the same way. Whether it's a dog who needs an energetic walker, a cat who just wants company and consistency, or a multi-pet household juggling both, I'll treat your home and your pets like my own.

Jenny is an excellent pet mom and caregiver! I have seen her take excellent care of both dogs and cats. Jenny's dog, Albert, is pampered like that snooty cat in the Fancy Feast commercials. Her first thought leaving or coming home is about how Albert is doing. She is an excellent host when Albert's rowdy dog friends come over. One is a hungry hippo of a lab who is always on her best behavior when Jenny is around. Another is a jumper, but that doesn't happen when she comes over as the dog is busy getting loving. Jenny isn't a one-trick human, she has an energy that even the most apathetic cat can vibe with. She give cat scratches that are better than most can give. So, watch out, your cat might end up addicted. She also takes excellent photos of pets so you won't miss your pets (too much) with all the cute photos. Jenny is also a normal, responsible human being. You can leave her with your cat, your dog, your baby (not that you'd do that on Rover), any thing valuable to you really, and you'd have peace of mind when you do so.
Jennifer would be a great caregiver for your special pet! She has had over 20 years experience with both cats and dogs ! She is responsible and loving; animals just automatically warm to her and somehow know they will be safe. For example, she does personal grooming and nail care for her current dog, a lively Golden Retriever. He lays in her lap and acts happy and relaxed like he is at a spa while being taken care of. Having raised the dog from a pup she invested many hour in training and coaching to afford the pet a delightful disposition and a well behaved demeanor. Many larger breeds think and act independently and cause their owner concern, especially in publlic spaces. Jen's 3 large dogs were all well cared for, but had their manners. Feeding only as the Vet recommends and not giving unhealthy treats just to appease a sad face! Jennifer has also doted on three wonderful lifetime cats at various times. While cats are notorious for ignoring you; these cats would come right up to her. An affectionate, careful and detail oriented caregiver; she'll make sure you feel comfortable and informed on how your pet is making out while you are away. Schedule
While my weekday work hours are long, my weekends are sacred — and my golden retriever gets the full benefit of that. We're out for long walks, playing at the park, or just hanging out together with nothing else competing for my attention. That's the same energy and focus your pet would get when I'm caring for them: undivided attention, plenty of activity, and someone who genuinely wants to be there rather than squeezing it in between other things.

Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my approach is the same: plenty of activity balanced with genuine downtime. I'm an active person who loves a good long walk, a game of fetch, or just running around outside — but I'm just as happy cozying up with a good book while a dog or cat curls up next to me. Lots of snuggles are guaranteed either way. I live in a very walkable part of Baltimore with lots of foot traffic, so there's no shortage of good routes and new sights and smells. My golden retriever and I are out most days walking along the wharf, and I'm glad to bring your pet along on those same walks or tailor the pace and distance to whatever they're used to. In your home, I'll stick as closely as possible to your pet's normal routine — feeding times, walk schedule, favorite spots — so the biggest change they notice is an extra set of hands to give them attention.

A typical day
During your pet’s stay, they’ll enjoy plenty of TLC! Daily walks to keep them active, trips to the dog park (with parent approval) for some off-leash fun, playtime with toys, and lots of love and snuggles throughout the day. Every pet gets individual attention to make sure they feel right at home.
