I would like to know about your animal's dog and stranger preferences (excited, stand-off ish, no way). I worked at a shelter for years and have gotten a pretty good grasp on dog behavior and what to look out for.
A typical day
I enjoy running around with the dogs and taking them on long walks (~4-6 miles/day). Ithaca has some amazing hiking trails that I would love to explore further with you’re pets!

Hello! My name is Jennifer and I am in my third year as a Veterinary student at Cornell University. My primary interests lie in small animal medicine and shelter medicine. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages (puppy, mid-age, senior). I am comfortable and experienced with medicating and walking dogs. Including: insulin injections, oral medication, eye drops/lube, etc. I have owned many animals, including dogs, cats, sugar gliders, guinea pigs, lizards and geckos, so I am completely comfortable watching any other animals you may have as well. I am responsible and always trusted with any animal I take care of. I have plenty of references that I’d love to give upon request. I’d love to watch your animal(s)! Jen is wonderful! She always sent the best photos of our rabbit & did a great job of keeping his space clean & comfortable for him. We had run out of bedding due to my mistake & she even offered to grab some for us to ensure he had his normal setup. Overall would totally recommend working with her(:
Jennifer was great! Was very easy to communicate with, flexible, and understanding about some unfortunate logistical mix-ups I had. She was also very kind with my boys. Would book again and highly recommend.
