Hi, I’m Jenny! I’m an experienced animal-care professional with several years of hands-on experience working in pet hotels and pet food stores, along with a lifetime of caring for animals of my own. During my time working as a pet hotel lead, I cared for animals with a wide range of personalities, routines, and needs. That experience taught me that good pet care isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some animals warm up immediately, while others need patience, consistency, and a little extra time to feel comfortable. I’m experienced with following detailed feeding and care routines, administering medications, accommodating food aversions and sensitive stomachs, responding to food strikes, and adapting when unexpected situations come up. I’m comfortable working under pressure and, most importantly, I pay attention. Changes in an animal’s behavior, appetite, energy, or routine can be important, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet seriously. After spending some time working as an office manager at a wellness clinic, I realized how much I missed working with animals. Caring for them has always been something that comes naturally to me, and returning to animal care feels like getting back to work I genuinely enjoy and find meaningful. At home, I have two cats of my own, Frank and Mabel, so I also understand pet care from an owner’s perspective. Trusting someone new with an animal you love can be stressful. When a pet is in my care, I treat them with the same patience, attention, and respect I would want someone to give my own. I’m happy to learn the little things that make your pet your pet—their routines, favorite spots, quirks, boundaries, and the things that help them feel safe and comfortable. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away without wondering how things are going back home.
