Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily and weekly routine. I structure my schedule to ensure that the pets I'm caring for receive consistent attention, whether that’s feeding, cleaning, playtime, or just companionship. I’m used to planning my day around pets' routines—early morning feedings, midday check-ins, evening play or cuddle sessions, and any special care needs like medication. Because I treat pet care as a priority, I always make time for things like litter box cleaning, replenishing food and water, and giving each pet personalized attention to keep them happy and comfortable. Whether I’m sitting for one pet or multiple, I stay organized and mindful of each pet's needs and schedule. For me, pet care isn’t just a task—it’s a part of my lifestyle.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on making the experience as stress-free and comfortable as possible—for both the pet and the owner. I always begin by learning the pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions the owner provides. I make sure to follow feeding times, litter box cleaning, medication schedules, and playtime exactly as outlined. I maintain a calm, respectful presence in the home and keep things clean and tidy—always leaving the home as I found it, if not better. I also provide regular updates (photos, videos, and notes) to keep owners reassured while they’re away. I pay close attention to the pet’s behavior and health, watching for any signs of stress or illness, and I act quickly if anything seems off. Whether it’s a short visit or an extended stay, my goal is always to keep the pet safe, comfortable, and happy in their familiar environment.

Information Jennifer S. would like to know about your pet
I will not sit for emotionally stressed dogs. If your dog has a history of biting I will not watch your dog. I will not sit for dogs that have been adopted from abusive homes. Does your dog have proper, basic behavioral training, such as sit, stay, and/or housetraining? Does your pet have separation anxiety? Does your dog have emotional issues? Has your dog ever socialized with other dogs? Does your dog have flea and tick treatment that is up to date? Please answer these questions honestly- how your pet behaves, not how you wish they behaved. It will help me better prepare for my time with them.
A typical day
I want to enrich your pets when they are in my care. There are several different activities I can plan to keep your dog entertained and physically fit. With your permission, I can provide the following options: I have several "smell games" that we can play, massage, grooming, teaching target activities, sniff exploring, fetch, and my favorite......snuggling!

Loving Care for Fur Babies
Pet care experience
I treat my fur babies as if they were a member of the family (sometimes better). Love and attention are priorities, especially when they are away from their loved ones. Special attention is given, playtime, or maybe just on my lap being pet. Each dog is different and it is important to read the signs or your dogs needs. I cater to your pets needs. If your dog has special needs with feeding times or foods, I can manage that as well. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible when I am caring for your pet. I know how stressful it can be finding the "right fit" to care for your furry friend. I can be that person! Please expect daily updates and a photo or two to be sent to you for peace of mind while you are away. My service area is Southern Anne Arundel Cunty to Annapolis. Puppies are now on a case by case interview only basis. Please ask for pricing and details. If your dog has behavioral issues or emotional issues I am not the sitter for you. Please be honest when evaluating your dog as I have been bit by someone who was careless and did not consider their dogs needs. 😊

Reviews

Jennifer was awesome - caring and responsible and a great communicator. I had such peace of mind having her house sit our old fur babies and would highly recommend her for your pet care needs.
We had the absolute pleasure of having Jennifer stay in our home and care for our animals while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, she was communicative, responsible, and clearly very experienced with both pet care and house sitting. Our animals immediately warmed up to Jennifer, and it was clear that she treated them like family. We received regular updates, including photos and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind. When we returned, our home was spotless, the plants were healthy, the mail was collected and our animals were relaxed and happy — always a sign they were well cared for. We truly appreciated Jennifer’s attention to detail, reliability, and warm personality. We wouldn’t hesitate to welcome her back into our home, and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Thank you again, Jennifer!
Jen was awesome! Highly recommend her for your pet/house-sitting needs.

Jen was terrific, Skyler and Luna seem to connect with her which eased our fears, this was the first time leaving the dogs. She sent plenty of photos, we are extremely happy with her and will definitely use her again.
