Leelanau Dog Vacation
Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover, runner, and outdoor enthusiast based in beautiful Leelanau County. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone who will make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I have a dog of my own, Hobbes, who is incredibly social and loves both dogs and people. She is always happy to have a new friend around! Dogs staying with us are treated like part of the family, with plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and opportunities to relax and get comfortable. One thing that makes my dog sitting a little different: I love running with dogs! If your pup is an experienced runner and enjoys getting some miles in, I’m happy to take them along on runs throughout Leelanau County. Not a runner? No problem at all. Walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and couch time are just as welcome. I always tailor activity to your dog’s age, fitness level, personality, and normal routine. Whether your dog is here for the day or staying while you’re out of town, my goal is for them to feel like they’re having their own little Leelanau vacation — and for you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re happy, active, and well cared for

Jennifer accepted our doggy daycare request just two days before, which was incredibly helpful. Fitzy had an amazing time with her and his new friend Hobbes. They went on a run together and enjoyed some time relaxing. Jennifer kept us updated throughout the day and sent photos. We highly recommend her and will definitely be booking again next time we are in the area!
We were vacationing in Glen Arbor and needed some last-minute help with our pup while we celebrated a special occasion at a local restaurant. We booked Jennifer for a two-hour walk, and she was absolutely wonderful! She was a fantastic communicator, professional, punctual, and arrived with a big smile. We immediately felt at ease from the moment we met her and felt completely comfortable leaving Coco in her care. She kept us updated throughout the evening with messages about how Coco was doing, which we really appreciated. Coco had a great time, and we were able to enjoy our dinner knowing she was in such good hands. We would absolutely book Jennifer again and highly recommend her!
I hate to give a two star review but I think it’s important to know that Jennifer’s work schedule is varied and when I left our puppy she planned to leave her crated all day. This is not at all why I book with Rover. The good news is she was worried about our Nala and reached out to me to let me know. This was our second experience with Jennifer and when she’s home she’s a great host.
Our two dogs were living their best life while staying with Jennifer. They were able to go hiking, play ball and sleep wherever they wanted. While we were on vacation, our dogs were too!

Absolutely perfect. Got pictures every day. Moose and Gus got along just fine! I’m getting the feeling they wanted to keep Gus! Highly recommend....very accommodating as far as drop off and pick up. Definitely dog lovers. Thanks guys!
