I have always had cats. I grew up with them. There is a picture of me dangling from my mother's arm, along with one of our cats, which was about the same size! In my 40s, I started volunteering specifically with cat rescues, and later I worked to fix and care for a small feral colony, finally adopting the last two out privately. I especially understand shy cats and I let cats be themselves, getting to know me slowly if need be, or enjoying some lap time, biscuit-making, and purrs if Kitty is outgoing and friendly! Ask me anything about play, purrsonalities, the litter box, even training a few kitty tricks. I know cats aren't aloof to humans as the myth states. Cats need people too, and I will be there for them when you will be out of town!

I care for your pets at your home. When I drop in or house sit I learn what you do with your cats or dogs and do that too, whether it's playtime or brushing with your kitties, drives to parks or the woods with your dogs, yard let-outs, cuddling, or throwing a ball!

We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely hire Jennifer again in an instant! She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and genuinely lovely to speak with throughout our time away. We felt very comfortable knowing both our cat and our home were being well cared for. We also ran into a few unexpected issues with feeding, and she handled everything with so much patience, thoughtfulness, and care. She was proactive about keeping us updated and worked with us to make sure our cat was comfortable and well taken care of. We really appreciated how kind, reliable, and conscientious she was. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

It was great to have Jennifer stop by twice over Christmas this year! With her extensive experience with cats, I fully trusted her to make sure my cat, Paolo, would be in great hands. She was a great communicator leading up to and during the visit. She sent many pictures and videos, which made me feel at ease while traveling. We arranged a meet and greet about a week prior to the visits so she was able to meet my cat and get an understanding of where things were in the apartment. Would definitely book Jennifer again!

Schedule
I have an engaging job during the day. I love to do morning and evening drop-ins and overnight house sitting for cats! I usually try to get back ASAP but if I don't see your message because of work I will be sure to reply the second I see it!
- CatsJennifer can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- With cats I want to know their purrsonalities, whether they are shy or outgoing, if they like play and what toys to play with, and if they like being brushed with a currycomb or brush. With dogs, I would like to know the dog's favorite toys or routines, whether the dog takes a while to warm up or trusts new people right away. I do not walk dogs with a gentle leader or any kind of nose loop; please have your dog ready to walk with a collar or harness.
