I am a dog person at heart, always have been. I have years of experience helping dogs become more social and understanding they are safe and loved. I trust people if my dog trusts them. I will care for your pups as if they were my own. I have experience with many breeds, from puppies to seniors. Special needs are no problem for me at all. I have a flexible schedule and have a deep love of helping others, human and K9. After a law enforcement career of over 15 years, I now have the opportunity to do more. I love all breeds, any type of fur baby. I have either owned or cared for all types over the years. There is always room for a new fur friend! I am able to have the joy of pet sitting full time. I have very open availability in the west Michigan Lakeshore area! I live in Grand Haven. I will take every precaution to ensure the safety of your pet during the time they are in my care. Keeping them safe, happy and healthy is my goal!

Before my housesitting begins I try to obtain all the info I can to make sure the pets stay happy and healthy. I stay with their normal routine as much as I can. I always follow the owners lead.

We really appreciated that Jen was able to accommodate us on short notice and come meet our dog beforehand. Our pup is a newer rescue and very timid, so we had explained that patience and extra time would really help her feel comfortable. Unfortunately, I felt the visits didn’t reflect the level of care we were hoping for. The first scheduled 30-minute visit was only about 8 minutes long, and while the second visit was closer to the full time, I had originally requested two 1-hour visits. We ended up adjusting the booking to two 30-minute visits instead. While I’m glad she was available and that things worked out logistically, I do wish there had been more time and attention given to our dog, especially given her nervous temperament. I think a little extra care up front could have made the visits much smoother for our pup.
Took wonderful care of our sweet Rosie. Would have Jennifer back in a heartbeat.
