While I’ve grown up around dogs, I began regularly dog walking, training, and house sitting about five years ago. I’ve learned a lot through hands-on experience as well as educational videos focused on leash training and positive handling techniques. I’ve applied what I’ve learned with around 8 dogs, including a puppy that I taught to walk on a leash from scratch. Through my experience, I’ve learned that caring for a dog isn’t simply about how far you can walk or getting them to behave perfectly. It’s about understanding the individual dog, paying attention to their comfort and needs, and helping them feel safe and relaxed in their environment. My goal is always to provide patient, attentive care while building trust with each dog.
