In my journey through animal rescue, I have witnessed the heartbreaking truths of how these innocent beings are so often treated. This realization drives me to volunteer tirelessly, for no creature should ever have to bear the burdens of pain, suffering, or loneliness. Each animal I encounter deserves the utmost respect, care, safety and love—just as I would offer to my own beloved pets. If a furry friend feels the warmth of the sun and chooses to bask in it rather than come inside, I will happily join them in their moment of bliss. If they yearn for a few more minutes of play, I will dive into their joy with an open heart. The time we share is far too precious, and I am determined to savor each fleeting second, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

As much information that I can learn about the pets, the better. Any tips, tricks, or triggers is always a must to know. As a husky owner, I am always cautious of what pets can/can’t do and like/don’t like. I want them to feel loved as much as their owners love them and not stress them out (pets and owners).
A typical day
Depending on the animal, I have always found walking dogs is great stimulation for them. A game of fetch is always good exercise for the dogs and me!

I have been responsible for caring for pets since my teenage years. Friends and family have entrusted me with the responsibilities of walking, feeding, and looking after their animals. Additionally, I have volunteered with Forever Husky for over 14 years, gaining experience in all aspects of animal rescue and welfare. I hold a strong belief in treating animals with the same care and respect as one would afford to family members.

Jen took spectacular care of our three pups! She communicated well and we always knew what was happening. I’d trust her with our dogs again in a second. Also, our house was immaculate when we walked in!😊
