Hi, I’m Jen, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always treated our pets like family members. I’ve had many years of hands-on experience with everything from raising playful puppies and kittens to caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve never met an animal I didn’t feel comfortable with, and dogs are my absolute favorite! Today, I have two large dogs of my own, and if you ask my college-aged kids, they’ll jokingly tell you the dogs have taken their place as the “favorite children” of the house. But that’s just what happens when you love dogs as much as I do—they become family. When I care for your pet, I treat them like one of my own. I believe pet care goes beyond just meeting their basic needs—it’s about making them feel happy, engaged, and loved. Whether it’s a game of fetch with their favorite toy, a walk filled with exciting sniffs and discoveries, or cozy cuddle time on the couch, I’m committed to giving your dog the attention and care they deserve. With my experience and passion for animals, you can rest easy knowing your furry friend is in good hands. My goal is to provide the kind of care that keeps tails wagging and pet parents feeling confident and worry-free. I can’t wait to meet your pup and help them feel right at home!

When caring for pets, their safety and happiness are my top priorities. Whether at my home or yours, I always follow consistent routines to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I take the time to learn each dog’s unique needs, habits, and preferences, ensuring that they receive personalized care. In my home, I provide a pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to relax and play. I carefully monitor interactions between my pets to ensure everyone feels safe and stress-free. I also supervise outdoor time and take care to keep my dogs in secure areas (like my fenced back yard) to help prevent accidents or escapes. In your home, I strive to maintain your pet’s usual routine, including meal times, walks, and playtime. I will respect your home by following any specific rules or boundaries you’ve set for your pet (like staying off certain furniture). I also love sending regular updates with photos or videos so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away as well! Regardless of where I care for your pet, I always keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being. If I notice anything out of the ordinary, I’ll contact you right away. Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are at the heart of everything I do.

We love Jennifer! She is a repeat watcher for us and does an amazing job. The pups love her and she is great at communicating and sending pictures and funny stories! We will keep using Jennifer as a sitter and highly recommend her!
Jennifer took great care of our dogs while we were away. Instructions were followed perfectly. Both dogs seemed to have great fun hanging out with her and were happy and healthy when we returned. We appreciated the frequent updates and photos. Highly recommend.
Jennifer was amazing! She was so nice, very attentive and loving to our pups. She always checked in with us sending the cutest photos. Communication was easy and always quick. She also left our house probably cleaner than when we left. The dogs loved her and we will absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone.
Jen was amazing with our dog and went out of her way to make sure he had a great weekend while we were gone. We came home to a house that was in even better condition than we left it. We can’t wait to hire Jen for our next trip.
I highly recommend Jennifer Ronan as a pet sitter/Walker. I have personally watched her interact with animals large and small. She loves them!! She has two large dogs. I find her attentive, proactive and gentle with them. She is physically fit and can handle the largest dog😊. She has taken care of my 13 year old cocker/ cavalier. He loves her. My cat loves her too. As a person, she is honest, dependable and responsible. I trust her to care for my animals
I highly recommend Jennifer! She is a wonderfully attentive and doting dog lover and dog owner who has boundless energy to keep up with the even the most active dogs. She’s also incredibly patient. She is reliable, prompt, trustworthy and has great communication skills. Her affinity for furry friends is readily obvious when you meet her, as is her kindness and knowledge of animal needs. 10 out of 10!

I was recently laid off from my full time job and looking to use dog care services as an additional side income while I determine what’s next for my career. This means I have open availability unless otherwise noted on the app.

- To help ensure I provide the best and safest experience for your pet, it will be important to share as many details about your pet with me ahead of time related to their behavior and personality, routines, handling, and any health or medical needs. Some related questions that often come up might include: Behavior & Personality Does your pet have any specific triggers (e.g., other dogs, loud noises, strangers)? How does your pet behave around other animals and new people? Does your pet have separation anxiety or experience stress when left alone? Are there any fears or behaviors I should be aware of (e.g., fear of thunderstorms, aggressive tendencies)? Health & Medical Needs Does your pet have any medical conditions or special needs? Is your pet currently on any medication? If so, what is the schedule for administering it? Are there any allergies I need to know about (food or environmental)? Routines & Preferences What is your pet’s daily routine (feeding, potty breaks, walks, bedtime)? Are there specific activities your pet enjoys or dislikes (e.g., fetch, car rides)? Do you have any rules or boundaries (e.g., no furniture, no human food)? Does your pet have a favorite toy, treat, or comfort item? Safety & Handling Is your pet crate-trained or used to being confined for short periods? How does your pet behave on a leash? Are they prone to pulling or trying to escape? Is your pet microchipped, and do they wear ID tags? Is your pet comfortable riding in the car (if transportation is needed)? Having these conversations ahead of time will help me prepare properly and provide your pet with the best care while giving you peace of mind, making your pet’s experience the most safe, comfortable, and enjoyable one possible!
