I have been around dogs and other animals my entire life (30+ years). We always had a number of different breeds of dogs in our home since my family was a dog and animal-loving bunch and my dad was an obedience and K-9 police dog trainer. I was also a nanny out of high school where I helped raise and was responsible for 3 children and two new King Charles Cavalier puppies. What started as a hobby through my love of animals has now become my second job (to motherhood) in the most recent years. I service many families and their pets in the surrounding area and pride myself on being accommodating, responsible, dependable, and honest. I have experience as a day dog walker, an over-night sitter in our home, and I offer drop-in care. I am comfortable and confident when it comes to caring for young puppies, walking pets (one or multiple), assisting pets with special needs or medication, senior pets with ailments, and offering some assistance with basic training/commands while in my care. My family and I currently have 2 playful & loving Miniature Schnauzers whom we adore. We believe that any and every pet is a part of the family, no matter what kind. When your pets are in my care, trust that they are treated as one of my own!

Schedule
I am currently a stay-at-home parent. My children are at school for most of the day so I am here with your fur baby providing one-on-one companionship throughout the day. If and when we must leave the house, it is usually no longer than for a few hours at a time. Your pet will be monitored remotely through cameras located throughout our home.

Safety, trust & environment
When I drop-in on your pet/s in your home, I treat your space with care and respect just as I do my own. I can be trusted to enter and exit independently and ensure that the property is secure. If I see something needing attention (mail, packages, a potty accident, an issue in or with the home), I am generally able to handle it and/or notify the owner immediately. As a previous nanny and a current wife and mother, my natural instincts and acquired life skills allow me to react swiftly and responsibly as to handle many types of situations so that you don’t have to worry! While tending to your pets, I provide a walk, fresh water and food (when needed), playtime, companionship, and attention. I am no stranger to administering medications and have experience with all personalities, ages, breeds, etc. We have a two story home with a hard-floored main level. When your pets come to stay, this is where we spend the majority of our time. It is helpful for pups who might have any accidents. For those pets needing to be secure in our absence, I have crates and playpens as well as cameras that provide the ability to check-in on them from anywhere. Pets who are trained and well-mannered when left for short periods are allowed to free-roam in a well-kept, clean environment, free of any dangers and hazards. We have a large fenced yard for potty breaks and outdoor playtime. We can also provide walks for our furry guests for potty time, exercise, and then play indoors in the A/C when it’s too hot. Our Miniature Schnauzer pups are 7 years old and less than 1 year old. They are well-accustomed to and enjoy playtime with other dogs. At first they are excited and vocal, but settle in quickly with furry friends and have always coexisted peacefully. They are very mild tempered and obedient. In addition, we have two children who also love new pets in the home and enjoy helping with playtime and walks. *All pets that enter our home should be dog-friendly and MUST show no child-aggression or I will have to care for them in your own home.
Pets
A typical day
There will be plenty of playtime and exercise, both indoor and outdoors. We usually have friends here to play, in addition to our 2 guys. There are plenty of stimulating toys here. We go from inside to outdoor, play, potty, repeat, very regularly. If your pup should get dirty while in my care, I would include a bath if necessary.
