Upper Beaches- One Dog Only Care
I am a warm, dog-loving mom in Toronto’s Upper Beaches who recently said goodbye to my beloved 13 year old King Charles Cavalier. While I'm not ready to adopt again just yet, I deeply miss having two dogs in our home and would love to care for yours as part of our family. I work from home full-time, so your dog will have consistent supervision, companionship, and lots of affection throughout the day. Yes, I am part of "those people" that treat pets like family. I will send you daily videos and photos of your dog so you can see how they're doing, what they're up to, and how well cared for they are. I promise to treat your dog like my own! I currently have a friendly and social 4 year old little female Cavalier/Cocker Spaniel who is missing her best buddy. She loves company and welcomes new dogs into her home with a wagging tail and a sweet personality. She knows how to share her space well and enjoys having other dogs around.

Jennifer, her husband and dog Gracie were amazing with Matcha! I was nervous with leaving Matcha with someone from Rover for the first time, but Jennifer put my mind at ease. She provided regular updates and was very easy to communicate with. Best of all, Gracie is so lovely and seemed to provide a calming presence to Matcha, who is usually very anxious. We will definitely book with her again!
Jen and her family took amazing care of our dog. It was our first time leaving our dog with someone for an extended time, but we could tell immediately that he would be loved and cared for in our absence with Jen. Jen, along with her family and her adorable dog, made our dog feel cozy and right at home. We would not hesitate to have Jen our watch our dog again and we will be using her services again soon.
Jennifer is s very loving dog owner who is able to provide stability, comfort, warm, and fun to dogs in her care. Jennifer is very organized, trustworthy , reliable and would provide a stress free environment. Her communication style is warm and clear . She would maintain consistency in routines (food, meds , toys , exercise) for the dog as per its owner. She has very clean home with a beautiful yard and a friendly , well behaved dog of her own . This fosters other dogs to feel safe, comfortable , eager to learn while feeling they are in a spa like environment. It is always a pleasure to watch Jennifer interact with dogs. I can assure you that your dog will be in amazing hands and well taken care of !
I’ve known Jennifer for over 20 years and she has always had one or two furry family members. Each one of them has been super special to her, and a big part of her life. She loves her pets big time, and takes care of them as much as any of her loved ones. When you go to her house you know she is a pet lover. From the photos of them in with family, to all of the toys and doggy paraphernalia. You can tell they love her right back because they follow her wherever she goes. If you go over to visit you can guarantee she will be snuggling one of her pups, or speaking in her secret pup language to them. I would absolutely trust Jennifer with anyone’s special furry friend.
Jen, Anthony and their daughter Quinn are the best do sitters around. You never have to worry about the card your dog will receive. They have cared for our Morkie Maks. He's happy to go there. He gets his walks, cuddles and attention he is use to. He gets along well with their dog Gracie who is super friendly and gentle. I would highly recommend them! Jill
Jen is an incredibly kind and responsible person who truly loves animals. I’ve known her for years and would trust her completely with my pets. She’s reliable, attentive, and very in tune with animals’ needs and personalities. As a pet owner herself, she understands how important it is to feel confident and at ease when someone else is caring for your dog. Schedule
I work from home full-time so I have plenty of flexibility for walks, affection, care, and attention--weekdays and weekends. I grew up with pets all my life and recently cared for my senior dog who required extra support, a gentle touch, and regular medication. I am comfortable administering oral medication, caring for senior dogs, and providing gentle and slower routines when needed. I understand that every dog has their own rhythm and personality and I want to make them feel as comfortable and loved as possible, no matter their age or complexity.

I live in a semi-detached home with a fenced in backyard and peaceful sidewalks and nearby parks for relaxed walks in a quiet, family and dog-friendly neighborhood. I am in a non-smoking household and have a friendly dog of our own to keep yours company. Dogs are welcome on furniture and can sleep in our room (and even on our bed) if that’s what they’re used to. We just aim to provide a low-stress, cozy, and safe environment where your dog can feel as close to being at home as possible.

A typical day
A typical day in my home is calm, loving, and full of attention. Because I work from home full-time, your dog will have consistent companionship and focused care all day long — never left alone for long stretches. We only host one dog at a time, so your pup will receive individualized attention, love, and a peaceful environment full of walks, fenced-in backyard play, watching the world go by through the front window, or hanging out and napping with my own dog. Evenings are cozy — another walk, wind-down time, and lots of snuggles before bed (dogs who are used to sleeping on the bed are welcome!).Your dog will be cared for like one of our own — safe, loved, and truly at home. That is my promise to you.
