Hey, I'm Jen, Animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm in Scotland, surrounded by working dogs and all kinds of other animals. This upbringing gave me hands on experience with animals of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments and it’s where my love for animals truly began. I also volunteer at a bird rescue, which I find incredibly rewarding. I moved to Canada in 2012 and fell in love with the outdoor lifestyle and the wonderful pet loving community here in BC. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime in the yard, or just providing calm companionship, I take pride in offering attentive, reliable care to every pet I look after. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

Jennifer was great! She house sat and looked after my senior cat. It was so nice to know that Oliver wasn't left alone and was being well taken care of. She also took good care of the house, everything was left neat and tidy. Jennifer kept me updated and sent some pics as well. I would definitely recommend her, and have her look after Oliver again.
Our dog Scarlett had a great time with Jennifer and Toby! She enjoyed her time so much, that it seemed like she didn’t want to leave. we will definitely be checking Jennifer‘s availability next time we need to find a great place for Scarlett to stay. Definitely recommended, thank you again!
Jennifer was very good with our dog, treated him just like family. I received updates and photos. Baron got along with her dog and they were a great fit. If you are looking for one on one with personal attention then Jen is your best bet. Would definitely recommend
Jennifer was an excellent in home sitter for our beloved Doodle Lucy. She took excellent care of her and kept us updated regularly with texts and photos We heartily recommend her as a competent and reliable in house sitter
We were nervous with this being our first experience using Rover to have a “stranger” watch our pup, but it could not have gone any better ? Jennifer made time to come and meet Kali ahead of us going away and was very understanding with all our questions. While we were away she was really great sending us photos and updates often, and most importantly came back to a very happy pup ? ?
Jennifer is extremely professional experienced and kind. Always on time. Gives very detailed useful feedback after walks. Our hyper dogs Ted and Rosie adore her. Jennifer goes the extra mile to make the sessions super fun and safe. Very knowledgeable about dog training. We highly recommend Jennifer.

Schedule
I have another job but primarily work from home with a flexible schedule. Some days are lighter than others. This gives me plenty of time to care for pets and take them on regular walks. A lot of the time my husband joins me for house sitting, and he shares my passion for animals. I’ve been house sitting for several years and always treat your home with the same care and respect I give my own. I understand how important it is to feel confident that both your pets and your home are in safe, reliable hands while you're away. I’ve also worked with dogs that required additional care due to illness, so I’m comfortable administering medication and following specific routines when needed. I prefer to do a meet and greet before confirming any bookings. It gives us a chance to connect, helps your pets get familiar with me, and ensures we're the right fit for each other.

I have a dog named Toby, who’s a Standard Poodle crossed with a Komondor. He weighs 75 pounds and is a lovable goof with a big personality. Toby is my constant companion and joins me wherever I go. He’s energetic, playful, and very intelligent, having learned many commands through training. We both enjoy going on walks and discovering new places together.

A typical day
I really enjoy taking dogs outdoors for great walks. Some of my favorite spots include Centennial Beach, Cresent Beach, McDonald Beach, as well as fields, parks, and forest trails. Let me know where your pet likes to go, and I’ll be happy to take them there. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages during our time together.
