I have a secured fenced in backyard where your pup can run freely off leash and go potty on their own terms! I also have a nice sized deck where many of my pups love to sun bathe. I am a stay at home mom so am always here to keep your pup company and give them the best care. I have been a Rover sitter for 10 1/2 years and took care of family and friends pets for many years before that, in addition to having my own dogs so you can be sure your pup will be well taken care of at my house!

I think my main concern about a dog is if they’re okay around kids since I have 3 of them, ages 11, 8 and 7. My kiddos have been around dogs their whole lives though, love them and know how to be gentle with them! I would also like to know if they have any health issues, if they are house trained and just their overall habits...likes to chew on everything, etc, so I can be prepared! I want to know their typical routine, favorite activities and what makes them happy so they can have the best stay possible, it’s their vacation too! I love dogs of all breeds and sizes, but some of my favorite breeds are: Beagles, Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, Jack Russell's, Labs, Boston Terriers, Bulldogs, Golden's, and Puggles.

Here's where we'll take our walks I like to take 20-30 min walks through our residential neighborhood that includes multiple parks and walking paths. On warm days, we always walk earlier in the morning or later in the evening to avoid being out in the hottest temperatures. If your pup loves playing fetch, I have the perfect place for that too! There’s a huge, closed-in hockey rink less than a 5 min walk from our house where I’ve taken dogs off leash to run around freely and play fetch if that’s their thing, they LOVE it!! Your dog's sleeping arrangement I let the pups sleep where they are most comfortable! Their own bed, our bed, next to our bed, couch, recliner, kitchen, living room, whatever they want! Some dogs prefer their crates, that works too of course. The goal is to make them happy, we aim to please! Time I'll spend with your dog I’m currently a homemaker so I'm happy to have all day to spend with your dog(s), giving them extra TLC and around the clock care!

Hi there! My name is Jenn, I’ve been a Rover sitter for almost 12 years and a pet sitter for family and friends before that! I grew up with dogs who were treated like family, they slept in our beds, had their own Christmas stockings, were spoiled endlessly, etc so that’s the way your dog will be treated at my house, just like my own! I am a homemaker with 3 school aged kids, ages 12, 9 and 8 and currently no pets of my own so I’m always here to keep your dog company and give them plenty of love and attention. I typically accept more than one dog at a time unless a client requests their dog have a solo visit. I also have a big deck and fenced in backyard where they can be off leash. Often described as bubbly, I have also taken care of children for more than 20 families over a 15 year span. I have always loved animals and children and enjoy any time I get to spend with them. I believe they are the best judges of character. I live in a 3-story townhouse in a great suburban Frederick, MD neighborhood with my husband, our 11 year old daughter, 8 year old son and 7 year old daughter. I am fortunate to be a stay at home mom, which allows me to spend all day with the pups in my care, letting them out constantly and giving them lots of TLC! Their safety, health and happiness are my top priorities, I want to make their visit as enjoyable as possible! We currently don't have any pets of our own and I miss having a dog around, so I really enjoy getting to host a variety of pups in our home! About this sitter: Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my whole life. My parents owned a Chihuahua named George when I was born. I'm the reason we took in a stray Shepherd mix we named Brownie when I was 8. I went on to become a nanny and dog-sat a beagle named Bailey for one of my families. That's all it took for us to fall in love with Beagles and soon we had two of our own, Elvis and Chloe. My little "Chlo-Bear" passed away in 2013 and Elvis passed away in 2015. Now that I don’t have any dogs of my own, I love hosting other people’s fur babies, playing “grandma” essentially where I get to play with and love on them and then send them home to their parents for all the pet owner responsibilities! About my yard We have a securely fenced in backyard and a nice sized deck where pups can roam freely. It’s the perfect sized space to go in between our walks and fetch sessions! My experience administering medication I have given animals oral medication in both liquid and pill form.

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! When we picked our dogs up, they were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It's always reassuring to see your pets content and comfortable after being away from home, and that speaks volumes about the care and attention Jennifer provided. She treated them like her own, making sure they felt safe, loved, and cared for throughout their stay. Jennifer was also communicative, reliable, and easy to work with, which made the entire experience stress-free. We could tell our dogs received plenty of affection, attention, and companionship while they were with her. We are so grateful for the great care she provided and would not hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets!

Jennifer is wonderful! We have a 69lb Goldendoodle who is spooked easily and skittish around new people or environments unfamiliar. Jennifer was great with him. She slowly introduced new things and never tried pushing him faster than his own pace. She really knows how to connect with them and follows their cues. He loved her and her family. I think he is a little sad he’s not there anymore. She gave updates and sent pictures and loved him like family. We are so blessed we found her and HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for someone to entrust your fur baby with. Our sweet boy Brodhi is looking forward to future play dates!
