This experience has really made me rethink using Rover for my pets in the future. This was the first time we had to board our dog and we ended up taking an earlier flight home because I was concerned about him. First off, although her profile says Woodstock she is in Cartersville (about an hour away from us) which I didnt know until after I had paid. When I got there to drop him off she wasnt there. She called and told me I could just drop him off at the house when no one was home which was my first red flag. I waited until she got there so I could meet her and go over my dog's needs (he is a rescue with a lot of anxiety and will try to run out if not watched). I will say she was very nice when I met her but seemed to want to wrap up our convo and have me leave. I had concerns but just figured it was me being nervous about his first boarding. The next day I got one update and some pictures which I appreciated. The next day I got the exact same pictures which made me concerned. I sent a message asking how he was doing with the other dogs and asked if she could send me another update that night. I didnt get a reply until hours later when I told her we would be trying to pick up early. Her message was curt and just said she was working and it was fine but didnt answer any of my questions. I had a bad feeling so me and my husband moved up our flight. That morning I waited to hear from her and got nothing. I asked how he was doing and her response was literally "fine." It was later followed by a few pics. When I finally got there to pick him up she barely said 2 words to me. She handed me the leash, dropped all of his things by my car, then walked inside. When we got home we realized he reeked and that none of the food I had packed had been taken out of his bag so I have no idea what he ate the entire time he was there. I really dont like leaving bad reviews and want to give people the benefit of the doubt but I was super upset over the whole situation.

Jennifer loves dogs, and is a dog trainer. I felt very safe leaving my babies with her. Would definitely use her again, and would love to be able to have her work with my dogs to break some not-so-nice habits!

Jennifer is an amazing dog trainer. She has helped me learn how to interact with my dog better in walks and in the home. She is patient and kind with animals and I would trust her watching or walking my own dog.

Jennifer is a wonderful caregiver for dogs. She has a great understanding of how and why they behave and clearly loves being with animals. She helped me train my dog to walk on a leash and be respectful of visitors. She would make a great dog sitter and dog walker.

Jennifer has an exceptional way with dogs! Through her gentle and consistent guidance she has turned my yappy little baby into a much calmer, much quieter companion! Both of us look forward to our weekly lessons with her.

Jennifer is such an awesome trainer!! Our pup used to be very aggressive and disobedient. With the tools and tips that Jennifer gave us, our pup is now much more gentle and understands commands. Jennifer is so patient and kind with both people and dogs. She truly cares about both yours and the dogs learning experience. I very highly recommend!!
