I have three dogs of my own. A mini pincher and two yorkie Maltese I like to say that equals one full dog. I'm home all day for my job (and have a retired mother in law that lives with me) and your dogs would go outside every hour if need be. I have a fenced in back yard and my office looks over the yard. I can run with a dog instead of walk if that is something someone is looking for. I have done it with all of mine and enjoy running. I have two kids ages 8 and 12 that would be here in the later hours and on the weekends. Your dogs would get the same respect my dogs get and I can't wait to meet them!
