Hello! I have been dog sitting since I moved to New York 16 years ago when I needed extra money and I've continued to do it since because being around dogs always eases my stress and makes me happy! I work from home 5 days a week with the occasional day on the city. So just a heads up, your precious pup would need to be good with being alone on those days, but no worries, I have a doggie cam so I can check on them remotely anytime :) but other than that I'd be able to spend lots of time with your pup while you are away! I love taking my doggie clients for walks along the East River on nice days and little outings with me whether its running errands or having a bite to eat outdoors. During the colder days, I try to still take them along with me so they can be outside for a bit but most of the time I like to just stay inside with them and snuggle in the warmth. Please let me know if you'd like to meet beforehand and I’d be glad to meet you at a nearby park or in my downstairs lobby. Looking forward to meet you and your pup! :)

Jennifer was amazing with our shy chihuahua, Diego! She was so warm and gentle with him from the moment she met him. Jen sent the sweetest updates and photos throughout our trip, which made our vacation so much more relaxing. By the end, Diego seemed totally at ease, which says everything!! We'll definitely be booking with Jen again!
Jen did an amazing job watching our cavapoo this past weekend! Bo is a bit high maintenance (needs meds twice a day, has lots of anxiety), but Jen handled him like a pro. Took him on fun adventures outside and kept us updated through photos. Would happily bring Bo back for another visit :)

Schedule
I work from home as a freelancer so I am home most of the time. I do have full days in the city twice a week from about 8am to anywhere from 3pm and 5pm, but their can be occasions where I don't need to leave those days.

There is a great dog park just a 5 minute walk away near the Brooklyn Promenade and I live in great neighborhood where we can get lots of walks in
A typical day
I live right by the water, where there are dog friendly walkways and grass to sit and relax or get some exercise. Also I don't mind having your pup sleep in bed with me as long as they’ve had a bath but prefer if they're okay to sleep on a plush blanket or if they have their own bed. However i am glad to do whatever their normal routine is that will make them feel most comfortable.
