I'm newer to paid pet sitting, but I interned at a veterinary clinic, owned some pets, so I'm comfortable around animals of all kinds: dogs, cats, and small animals, including nervous ones and seniors. I can give medication if needed, and I'm also happy to help with baths and nail trims. I've spent time with both puppies and older dogs, and I adjust to whatever each pet needs. For me, caring for animals means real connection through active play, regular walks for dogs, and just paying attention to their mood and comfort. Whether it's a pup who needs to run off some energy, a cat who wants quiet company, or a small animal that needs gentle handling, I'll treat them like my own.
