I promise they will have loads of fun and lots of attention! Our home is located east of Pleasant Plains on 50 acres.

Safety, trust & environment

Visiting pups are accompanied on all trips outside in our large fenced yard. The dogs sleep in our brand new indoor kennel building that has heat/AC, bright lighting, and Wi-Fi for music and tv during down times . They have elevated beds with soft, washable bedding and their own set of bowls for meals that are washed daily. All dogs are required to be up to date on vaccines and a registration must be completed that is required by the state of Illinois as we are a licensed kennel. That information can/will be emailed to you at booking. We are in a daycare/kennel setting. Large and small dogs are separated in different rooms and play areas but dogs will be playing, supervised with other dogs throughout the day. We have, on average, 10 dogs per day. Of course holidays and some weekends are a little busier, maxing out about 20. It’s a fun, safe environment with 5x5x6 individual kennels that provide a soft bed and room to move. The dogs are also safe from any type of food aggression as they eat in their private kennel. Their personal items are stored separately and kept safe in their personal kennel for the duration of their stay. You’re welcome to bring bedding and toys if you’d like along with their daily food and treats. We do provide refrigeration if your dog eats refrigerated food or has med needs.

The dogs enjoy a very active day, playing outside weather permitting a lot of the day, supervised. We kennel for meals, an afternoon rest and for sleep. We have water bowls available all day and feed twice a day. Lots of belly rubs, toys and play time too - we’ll discuss your goal for the stay and work hard to meet your needs :)

Pets

Hello!!!

Pet care experience

Our family has had a variety of furry family members over the years - we have a terrier mix, Labradoodle and a very shy Jack Russell terrier. They are very well loved, sociable, spayed/neutered, and up to date on all vaccines.

Great experience, the kennel is very clean and my little pooch did very well in this new environment. He got to play with other small dogs and anxious only once - during a thunderstorm. Win win, I'll bring him back for sure!
