Safety is always my top priority — especially for young puppies and older dogs. Walks are always on-leash, and I keep routes safe and calm, avoiding busy roads and overstimulating environments. For drop-ins, I follow your routine exactly — meals, water refresh, potty breaks, playtime, and medications if needed. A typical day

A typical day depends on your dog’s needs and life stage. • For puppies: Short, positive walks to practice leash skills, potty breaks, and playtime to burn energy and build confidence. • For seniors: Gentle strolls at their pace, bathroom breaks, soft encouragement, and extra time for affection. Every visit ends with calm attention and a Rover photo update so you can see your pup happy, safe, and cared for.

Gentle Walks & Loving Drop-In Care

Pet care experience

I’ve spent years caring for animals of all ages — from energetic young puppies to senior dogs needing medication and a softer touch. My background working with animals (including horses and dogs) has given me strong skills in reading body language, managing different energy levels, and keeping pets calm, safe, and happy. I know how to balance play with structure for young pups, and I have the patience and attentiveness to support older dogs who may need slower walks, potty breaks, or extra cuddles.

I cannot say enough about the quality of care Jen provides to her clients! Her attention to detail, customer service, and knowledge made me comfortable leaving my animals under her watch. She's provided farm care to our horses, watched over our house, and has taken care of our dogs and house cat. It can be hard to find trustworthy folks nowadays, but I had no reservations whatsoever when it came to asking Jen to watch over our place and pets. On top of excellent care, she is a quality person, who we know we can rely on. We are returning customers and cannot say enough good about her and her services!!!

This space isn’t large enough to go into detail about how much Jenn has helped me with my dogs from training to pitching in at the last minute to rescue us from not being able to leave on vacation because another person had to cancel on us, last minute. With regard to training, Jenn is so tuned into the dog, she is able to spot the beginnings of behaviors that could lead to escalation, and redirect the dog before the dog becomes reactive. She has literally been a life-saver for us and our dog! She not only has taught our dogs, she has taught us and in such a kind and considerate manner. Jenn is such a delight to work with, I never feel like I’m asking stupid questions, though I’m sure I am… I can’t recommend her highly enough!!!

Jennifer has watched my pets on numerous occasions from my dogs to my horses and has always done a fantastic job, especially with my spicy thoroughbred and extremely eccentric heeler! She is always my go to when I need someone to watch them! Thank you for being so amazing!
