Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. With my adult children now grown and an established business that offers me a very flexible schedule, I’m able to devote plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. I structure my day around the needs of the pets in my care—whether that means morning walks, midday playtime, or evening visits. Because I’m not tied to a rigid 9–5 job, I can accommodate a variety of schedules and provide consistent, reliable care throughout the day and week. Animals bring so much joy to my life, and I truly love spending time with them. Caring for pets is not something I “fit in”—it’s something I genuinely look forward to and make a priority in my routine. I’m committed to making sure each pet receives the time, attention, and love they need while their owners are away.

When caring for pets in my home, I do everything I can to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved—just like part of the family! I create a calm, welcoming environment where pets can relax, play, and enjoy their time away from home. I pay close attention to each pet’s unique needs and routine, whether that’s sticking to their usual feeding schedule, providing their favorite toys and bedding, or giving them space and quiet if they prefer it. I offer plenty of supervised playtime and affection, while also respecting each pet’s individual temperament and comfort level. Because my schedule is very flexible, I am home the majority of the day when pets are staying with me. I am able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention throughout their stay. Safety is always a top priority—I maintain a secure environment and closely monitor all pets to ensure they are happy and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I work hard to make sure their time in my home is a positive and enjoyable experience for both them and their owners.

It’s helpful to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, and any quirks or behaviors to be aware of. I also like to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that need to be administered, as well as how they do on walks and around other animals. If your pet has any fears, special comforts, or preferences (like a favorite toy or bedtime routine), I’m always happy to incorporate those into their care. My goal is to make your pet feel happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor my care to their individual needs and provide a loving experience that feels just like home.

I love making sure each pet has a fun, enriching experience while in my care! I always tailor activities to match each pet’s age, energy level, and personality. For dogs who love the outdoors, we’ll enjoy walks around the neighborhood, trips to local parks, and plenty of fresh air and exercise. If your pup enjoys playtime, I’ll happily engage them with games like fetch, tug-of-war, or their favorite toys. For pets who prefer a slower pace, I offer lots of cozy snuggle time, gentle brushing, and quiet companionship. Mental stimulation is also important, so I like to incorporate interactive toys and simple games to keep their minds engaged. Most of all, I take the time to get to know what each pet enjoys and what makes them happiest. Whether it’s an energetic walk, playtime, or just being by my side, I strive to make every visit a positive, loving experience that leaves tails wagging and hearts happy.

I have over 30 years of experience owning and caring for pets of all shapes and sizes—including dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, crayfish, and lizards! Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly understand how much love and attention each one deserves. As a lifelong pet owner, I know that every pet has their own personality, needs, and quirks—and I take the time to get to know each one. Whether I’m walking a high-energy pup, caring for a senior dog who needs a little extra TLC, or giving snuggles and playtime during a sitting visit, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m comfortable with a wide range of animals, temperaments, and special care routines. I also understand how important it is for pet parents to feel confident and at ease when they’re away—I will always provide loving, attentive care and regular updates so you can rest easy knowing your pet is happy, safe, and loved.
