I am an animal lover, through and through. Dogs, cats, hedgehogs, birds… you name it. I treat my guest animals like my own and love on them as much as possible. I enjoy taking cute portraits of the pets in my care and I send lots of photos and written updates. I currently have a female Aussie/Pit mix, currently fostering a female Blue Doberman, and have had Doberman Pinschers in the past from puppies through old age until the rainbow bridge. I’m patient with puppies and elderly animals. I check to see which commands they know and how they have been trained to keep them consistent in my care, and have experience administering medications to them. Before joining Rover, I frequently dog and cat sat for friends and family.

Jen took great care of my dogs for 5 days. She sent me updates and pictures every day. One of the dogs had an upset stomach and Jen kept me up to date on how she was doing. She cared for them like her own dog!! I will be booking with her again. I highly recommend!!
Jennifer is such a sweet person. She took a very good care of simba. I see his happy face in the pictures that she sent during my trip. I have enjoyed my trip without worrying about him. She send me so many updates through out the day. I would highly recommend her and looking forward to book again in the future.
Jen was AMAZING with my 2 year old Bostie, Betty White. She truly went above and beyond! She made sure to introduce Betty to her dog slowly to make sure everyone was comfortable and safe. She updated me with so many pics and videos (which we all appreciated but especially my kids who missed their little buddy!). Betty is only 2 and high energy so I was a little nervous about leaving her but Jen reassured me she was happy and doing well and having fun learning how to be a dog 🐶 Will definitely use her again! Take that vacation… Shes the best, you won’t regret it!
Jen is wonderful! She is so great with all dogs, and especially with nervous rescues. She’s patient and calming and they can just tell they’re safe with her. Pups get the fun and exercise they need with Jen and the calming snuggles too! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing care for their critters!
Jen is amazing with my cat Dexter. He tends to be a bit spicy at times and yet Jen interacts with him with ease. Dexter loves when she comes over to play and cuddle. Dexter is a special kitty and requires several meals a day, medication twice a day, and lots of love and attention. Jen is amazing, and Dexter and I love her!!
Jen watched our four cats for us multiple times and each time she is always attentive to each cats individual needs and wants, as well as being sure to take care of all of our requests and follow instructions we have left. Jen gives each cat special attention and makes sure all their needs are met. Jen has always been timely and responsible and showed our cats love and attention in our absence. I have also had the opportunity to see Jen with her own dogs, they are well trained, loving, healthy, happy dogs who sure love their Mom! Jen goes above and beyond and you really can tell she is an animal lover.

Schedule
I am currently fully remote and based at home. I have a lot of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s schedule and needs. My schedule may change in the future but I will update my info when that happens.

Safety, trust & environment
I have one female 7 year old Aussie/Pit Mix and one 2 year old foster female Doberman. I have a spare bedroom to host guests with their crates and belongings but during the day they are with me, within line of sight in my home. My yard is fenced (4ft) and only two steps to the yard from the door. There are no children living in my home. I live is a quiet neighborhood and can go for walks as needed.
Pets
A typical day
I love to cuddle on a dog bed on the floor or on the couch and give lots of attention. We play fetch, tug, and set up licky mats with peanut butter or soft food. I set up baby pools in the yard on hot summer days. I like to go for walks to let the dogs get al the good sniffs.
